The 2022 college football season has already been filled with some big surprises and shocking upsets. Week 3 could deliver much of the same and there are plenty of great betting opportunities to choose from.

Nebraska just fired head coach Scott Frost after a 1-2 start and the Cornhuskers can’t find a way to get any stops on defense. This could turn into a shootout, but it will be the Sooners that do most of the scoring.
Take Oklahoma -10.5 as they roll to a big win in Lincoln.
California Golden Bears at Notre Dame Fighting Irish

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have now managed to lose three straight games to begin the coaching tenure of Marcus Freeman. A week 1 loss at Ohio State was understandable, but a home loss to Marshall in week 2 was a huge upset.
Notre Dame is also dealing with some injuries, including losing their starting quarterback. All signs point to another disappointing performance for the Fighting Irish, but this team is still loaded with talent.
Look for the Fighting Irish to figure it out against a mediocre California team as they cover the spread.
BYU Cougars at Oregon Ducks
Best Bet: Oregon -3.5
The 2-0 BYU Cougars travel to Oregon to face the 1-1 Ducks for a top 25 showdown in week 3. BYU stunned Baylor in overtime in week 2 and they are now facing an Oregon team trying to make up for a blowout loss in the season opener.
Both teams are great on offense, and there will be plenty of points in this game. The Cougars could still be without two of their top wide receivers, though and that’s going to impact this game.
Take Oregon -3.5, as the Ducks are going to be too tough at home.
Miami Hurricanes at Texas A&M Aggies
Best Bet: Texas A&M -5.5
The Miami Hurricanes are a perfect 2-0 on the season, but they haven’t played any real competition. That all changes in week 3 as Miami is set to take on the Texas A&M Aggies.
Texas A&M was just stunned by Appalachian State in week 2 and they will be trying to get things back on track in a big way. Miami has been nearly unstoppable on offense, but the Hurricanes are going to struggle to score in this one.
The Aggies will look sharp in this one, as they cruise to a win and cover the spread.
Fresno State Bulldogs at USC Trojans
Best Bet: USC -12.5
The USC Trojans are all the way up to number 7 in the latest poll after picking up a pair of dominant wins. USC will try to make it 3-0 when they host a Fresno State team that is 1-1.
Fresno State just gave Oregon State a battle in week 2, but this team doesn’t have the defense to win this one. USC has been putting up some huge numbers on offense and that unit will take control of this one as well.
This game won’t be close, as USC will roll to a blowout win to cover the spread.
