UCLA at Oregon Predictions

Best Bet: Bruins from +6.5 to +12.5

This is a game where the Bruins should be able to possibly win outright. UCLA quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson has been playing well and the Bruins have already shown an ability to win tight games, both in PAC-12 play and out of conference. Oregon has shown life after being beaten senseless in week 1 by Georgia.

Still, the Ducks won’t win this one by more than a score, if they win at all.

Texas at Oklahoma State Predictions

Best Bet: Texas from -6.5 to -0.5

The Longhorns have something with quarterback Quinn Ewers and running back Bijon Robinson. Texas, however, still is capable of struggling to put teams away. The Longhorns lost to Texas Tech in overtime and needed a touchdown late in the fourth quarter to beat Iowa State, which has yet to win a Big 12 game.

Oklahoma State is a good team and will make life difficult for the Longhorns.

Purdue at Wisconsin Predictions

Best Bet: Boilermakers from +2.5 to +8.5

The Big Ten West is a mess. Wisconsin fired coach Paul Chryst and is looking to get the ship back on track. Purdue is a fun team to watch that has a strong passing offense.

The Boilermakers will threaten to win this game outright and getting an extra six points couldn’t hurt.

Mississippi State at Alabama Predictions

Best Bet: Crimson Tide from -21 to -11

The Bulldogs have the unfortunate luck of playing Alabama following a devastating loss to Tennessee where a last-second field goal doomed the Crimson Tide. Mississippi State is a good team and has a strong quarterback in Will Rogers, but he won’t be able to keep up with Alabama. The Crimson Tide looked strong on offense when Bryce Young returned from injury.

Alabama can also score quickly and from anywhere on the field. Mississippi State’s air raid offense will provide them with plenty of opportunities to score.

Fresno State at New Mexico Predictions

Best Bet: Fresno State from -10.5 to -0.5

This is a game not really advisable to watch. The Bulldogs have had several injuries that doomed a team that appeared to have potential early in the season. New Mexico is not a good team and has yet to win in the Mountain West. Fresno State will win this one, but it will be an ugly, close decision.

Arizona State at Stanford Predictions

Best Bet: Sun Devils from +3 to +13

The Cardinal have mostly struggled throughout the season before an ugly win over Notre Dame. Stanford doesn’t have much to offer on offense. The Sun Devils have talent, but have mostly been rudderless as the program searches for a coach after Herm Edwards was fired.

Arizona State will keep this close because it has a better offense.
