Saturday, Jan. 9
Indianapolis Colts at Buffalo Bills Picks
Best Bet: Bills -6.5
The Colts came up just short in their bid to win the AFC South. Yet, they did finish the regular season with six straight-up victories in their final eight games. The only team hotter than that was Buffalo. The Bills cruised to the AFC East title as the No. 2 seed in the conference. They won nine of their last 10 games SU while covering against the spread in their final eight outings.
Los Angeles Rams at Seattle Seahawks Picks
Best Bet: Under 42.5 Points
Quarterback Jared Goff is still questionable for Saturday which is a concern. The Rams have lost 13 of their last 16 road games against Seattle which is another red flag. The Seahawks should win again but covering 4.5 points may be an issue. The best play is the UNDER. It has paid off in 12 of the last 18 games between these NFC West rivals.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Washington Football Team Picks
Best Bet: Washington +8.5
Tampa Bay brings some momentum into this game with a SU four-game winning streak. However most of its 11 wins this season were against teams with losing records. With Tom Brady making his debut in the NFC playoffs, the Buccaneers should win again. However, covering 8.5 points on the road could be harder than expected. Washington is 4-1 ATS in its last five games as an underdog.

Baltimore Ravens at Tennessee Titans Picks
Best Bet: Titans +3.5
The Ravens closed out the regular season with a SU five-game winning streak while covering in their last six games. However, they will have their hands full stopping running back Derek Henry on his home field. This could be the best matchup on Wild Card Weekend and a three-point game either way. I will take the extra half point in the Titans’ favor as the added edge.
Chicago Bears at New Orleans Saints Picks
Best Bet: Over 48 Points
The Bears backed into the playoffs with just three SU wins over their last 10 games. They were 3-5 ATS in their final eight outings. One other trend of note is the total going OVER in five of Chicago’s last six games. New Orleans should be able to cover the 9.5-point spread at home while scoring points at will. You could parlay the two but the OVER on the total line is the best play.
Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers Picks
Best Bet: Browns +4.5
These two AFC North rivals met last Sunday with everything on the line for Cleveland while Pittsburgh rested most of its starters. The Browns were able to squeeze out a two-point win as 10-point home favorites. That would point to a Steelers’ romp at home at full strength. Bitter rivalries have a way of tightening things up. Going against most of the recent betting trends in this matchup, I still like Cleveland and the 4.5 points.
