The Big Ten and Mountain West returned to action this past Saturday to add even more betting options to the board. Led by Indiana’s stunning upset over Penn State, I was able the eke out a winning 6-4 record with my top 10 picks.
Here is a quick look at this Saturday’s best bets in college football.

Boston College Eagles at (#1) Clemson Tigers Pick: OVER 59½
Boston College is a respectable 4-2 both straight-up and against the spread. However, it is in way over its head this Saturday. Clemson continues to breeze through the ACC with ease but the Tigers are 2-4 ATS. Yet, I do like the OVER in this matchup.
(#5) Georgia Bulldogs at Kentucky Wildcats Pick: Georgia -14½
Georgia returns to action following last week’s bye. Coming off the loss to Alabama on Oct. 17, frustration from the 17-point loss will be taken out on Kentucky. The Bulldogs have won their last five road games against the Wildcats SU.
(#23) Iowa State Cyclones at Kansas Jayhawks Pick: Iowa State -28½
The Cyclones are one of the better teams in the Big 12 and they should have little problem getting by Kansas to cover the large spread on the road. At 0-5 SU(0-4-1 ATS), Jayhawks’ fans are looking forward to basketball season.
Memphis Tigers at (#7) Cincinnati Bearcats Pick: Cincinnati -6½
Memphis has won three of four games SU but it is 1-3 ATS. If the Bearcats want any serious respect as a Top 10 team, they need to make a statement against a decent Tigers’ team. Cincinnati is also trying to snap a SU five-game losing streak to Memphis.

Michigan State Spartans at (#13) Michigan Wolverines Pick: Michigan State +25
Michigan is clearly the better team. However, giving up 25 points in a bitter rivalry is tough to cover. Michigan State has a 10-2 record ATS in its last 12 games against the Wolverines in this Big Ten clash.
Texas Longhorns at (#6) Oklahoma State Cowboys Pick: Oklahoma State -3
Texas has been unimpressive even when it wins. The Longhorns are 1-3-1 ATS coming off a PUSH against Baylor (What is a Push in Sports Betting). The Cowboys are out to prove that they are the class of the Big 12. Hammering Texas would be a good way to back that up.
Virginia Tech Hokies at Louisville Cardinals Pick: Louisville +3
In typical fashion, a bad loss knocked Virginia Tech out of the national rankings. Louisville is in perfect position to pin another SU loss on the Hokies this Saturday. The Cardinals are 5-1 ATS in their last six home games.

(#9) Wisconsin Badgers at Nebraska Cornhuskers Pick: Wisconsin -10
Wisconsin opened its season with a big win against Illinois to cover a 20½ point spread at home. Nebraska was a predictable no-show against Big Ten power Ohio State. The Badgers have a SU five-gaming winning streak in this matchup.
Mississippi State Bulldogs at (#2) Alabama Crimson Tide Pick: OVER 62
The Bulldogs are 32-point road underdogs but I still have them putting some points on the board. The total has gone OVER in four of their last five road games. The total has gone OVER in four of Alabama’s first five games this season.
(#3) Ohio State Buckeyes at (#18) Penn State Nittany Lions Pick: Ohio State -13
Ohio State made short work of Nebraska in its opener and I expect the Buckeyes to handle Penn State with ease. The Lions have covered in five of the last six meetings but keeping this game closer than two touchdowns is too tall a task.
