Dave’s Top 10 Best Bets for NFL Week 10

Last Sunday’s Top 10 NFL bets for Scores & Stats crashed and burned for my late-day picks to end with an even 5-5 record losing money on the juice.

I was able to rebound from my previous losing run in Week 7 with a strong 7-3 showing against the spread, so I expect to do the same with my Top 10 plays in Week 10.

Houston Texans at Cleveland Browns Prediction: Cleveland -3

Houston has a straight-up five-game winning streak in this AFC matchup. However, the tables are turned this season with the Texans at 2-6 SU and 1-7 ATS. These are the kind of games that Cleveland has to win to become a legitimate playoff contender.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Green Bay Packers Prediction: Green Bay -13½

The Jaguars are on the verge of getting their head coach fired with a SU seven-game losing streak. They have only covered once in their last six contests. Green Bay should be able to win this game at home by 14 points or more.

Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants Prediction: Philadelphia -3½

The Eagles come off a bye trying to establish this team as the best of the worst in the dismal NFC East. They needed a dramatic come-from-behind rally to beat the Giants in the first meeting. The second win will not be nearly as close.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers Prediction: OVER 50½

With just three points in a bad loss at home to New Orleans, I am expecting much better play from Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay offense this Sunday. Carolina has lost its last four games SU but it has still averaged 22 points during that skid.

Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders Prediction: Las Vegas -5

Each of these teams has a 5-3 record against the spread this season but Las Vegas is a perfect 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings between these two AFC West foes. Denver is just 5-13 ATS in its last 18 division games.

Los Angeles Chargers at Miami Dolphins Prediction: Miami -2½

The hard luck Chargers continue to find ways to lose games. Going on the road to face a hot Miami team this week is just bad timing. At 5-3 SU, the Dolphins need a win on Sunday to stay close to Buffalo in the AFC East title race.

Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers Prediction: Cincinnati +7½

The extra half point on the touchdown spread is the main reason I am going with the Bengals against the only undefeated team in the NFL. Cincinnati has covered in six of its last seven games.

Seattle Seahawks at Los Angeles Rams Prediction: UNDER 55½

Seattle getting two points on the road is tempting coming off last Sunday’s road loss to Buffalo. However, the best bet is the UNDER on an inflated total line. Look for each team’s defense to tighten things up in the NFC West clash.

Baltimore Ravens at New England Patriots Prediction: Baltimore -7

The Ravens returned to form in last Sunday’s win on the road against Indianapolis. They are a consistent 13-5-1 ATS over their last 19 games. New England barely got past the winless New York Jets on Monday night. The short week takes its toll.
