Falcons vs. Panthers Player Props Picks for TNF Week 10

The Carolina Panthers (2-7) host the Atlanta Falcons (4-5) on Thursday Night Football to kick-off NFL week 10. The Falcons would love to defeat their NFC South rival to take the lead in the division.

These teams just played in Atlanta in week 8 and the Falcons won in overtime (37-34).

Top NFL Sportsbooks

Atlanta are 4-0 ATS in the last four H2H meetings played in Carolina.

Tyler Allgeier Over 31.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

Allgeier has emerged as a strong option at RB for the Falcons. Allgeier has rushed for 32+ yards in six consecutive games. Even with Cordarrelle Patterson starting, Allgeier will see 10+ carries.

The Panthers are allowing 139.3 RYPG (28th). Allgeier is averaging 4.5 yards per rushing attempt, so even if his opportunities decrease a bit, he should still be able to cash this player prop bet.

Live NFL Odds

PJ Walker Over 173.5 Passing Yards (-115)

Walker is coming off a disappointing performance. He went 3/10 for 9 yards and 2 INTs in the first half against the Bengals last week before being pulled. Baker Mayfield performed well in the second half.

Walker is expected to start on TNF and he’s fighting for his starter position. Prior to last week’s game, Walker had thrown for 171 yards against the Bucs and 317 yards against the Falcons.

Atlanta rank 32nd against the pass (300 PYPG) and Walker should feel comfortable against ATL.

Terrace Marshall Jr. Over 35.5 Receiving Yards (-120)

It’s difficult to trust any WR on the Panthers, but with the Falcons secondary playing so poorly, there are going to be lots of opportunities for Carolina WRs to produce. We’re backing Marshall on TNF.

Marshall has stepped up the last couple weeks. He has been targeted 15 times the last two weeks. He had 87 receiving yards against the Falcons and 53 receiving yards against the Bengals.

He’ll be targeted 5+ times in this game. He averages 15.5 yards per catch, so should easily cash this bet.

Expert NFL Picks

Tommy Tremble Over 1.5 Receptions (+100)

The Falcons allow TEs to average 65.3 receiving yards per game, which ranks 29th in the NFL. Carolina utilize TEs sparingly. Tremble and Ian Thomas get most of the work at the position.

Tremble has been getting more work in the pass game the last couple games. He has had 2 receptions (4 targets) in both games. That trend should continue and we’re getting even money on this player prop.

Grady Jarrett Over 2.5 Tackles + Assists (-180)

We need to pay up here to place this bet, but it’s worth it. Jarrett has had 3+ tackles and assists in seven of eight games this season. There’s no reason he shouldn’t keep producing on the defensive end.

Jarrett is strong against the run and the Panthers will likely be running the football quite a bit. He also has 4.5 sacks this season and he’ll be able to put pressure on Walker, which will lead to tackles.
