After our blowout performance in week 10, the ScoresandStats.com handicappers enter the new year with a slower approach. Our handicappers are placing targeted wagers and reducing their error margins to boost their win percentages.
Check out who led the pack last week and what games we’re focusing on this upcoming week.
Russo’s On a Roll
Gino Russo was the #1 handicapper last week with a 5-0 record and $500 in profit. He won his money with four spread wagers and a totals bet. All of his picks were pretty reasonable, and he played along the safe lines, avoiding moneylines and keeping a fairly conservative approach.
Russo’s certainly on the up-and-up, this most recent streak of his bodes well if he can keep it up. In his 30-day record, we see Russo’s 12-12, and in his 90 day record, he’s 40-34. Hopefully in 2025 Russo can keep his winning streak up.
Top NBA Handicappers Last Week
Slow week for NBA handicappers last week. Everyone’s probably sticky by their New Year’s resolutions to lose less, so they’re betting more conservatively.
And if that’s the case, it seems to be working. Las week’s record was 21-3, which equates to an 87.5% win rate overall. Pretty good, even with low volume.
Together, the top five cappers won $1,790 in profit. It’s a far cry from the previous week, which was double that.
What We’re Watching This Week
Tonight, we’ll be watching the Bulls and Pacers game. Some of our handicappers already have their picks in, and it’s leaning toward the Bulls to pull through the spread.
The Cavaliers play the Raptors tomorrow, which will probably be a high-scoring W for the Cavaliers, who are at the top of their game this season.
Similarly, we see the Celtics play the Kings this weekend, so we’ll be betting on the Celtics to cover the spread there as well.
