This feels like the perfect opportunity for another dominant start from Scherzer, as he should have little trouble with the Athletics. Take the alternate strikeout total of 8+, as the right-hander has another big day.

Adam Wainwright and the St. Louis Cardinals are in Los Angeles for a matchup with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Both MLB teams have picked up a win so far in this series, and there is a good chance that this will be a playoff series in the NL.
Wainwright is not known to be a strikeout pitcher at this point of his career, but he still pitches deep in games. Take Wainwright to record at least five strikeouts as he pitches well in this one.
