The Atlanta Braves have won the first two games of their series in Washington against the Nationals, scoring 13 total runs in those wins. Atlanta has been red-hot since the start of June, and they are the most powerful team in the National League.
The Nationals pitching staff has been a mess all season long, and they won’t have much luck in this game. Atlanta is scoring at least six runs in this game as they are set to roll to another win.
Oakland Athletics at Houston Astros
Best Bet: Athletics Under 2.5 Runs
The Oakland Athletics went into Houston and picked up an impressive win on Friday night, but don’t expect a repeat performance on Saturday. Oakland has not been a good team this season, and they are set to face Justin Verlander in the second game of the series.
Verlander comes into the start on Saturday with an ERA of 2.00, and he just hasn’t allowed opponents to do much of anything against him. Oakland is going to struggle to do much of anything, and the under 2.5 is the best bet to make.
Boston Red Sox at New York Yankees
Best Bet: Yankees Over 5.5 Runs
The New York Yankees just continue to put up ridiculous numbers on offense despite the 5-4 loss on Friday night. New York has a lineup that is full of MVP candidates, and they are able to strike in a hurry.
It’s hard to ever take the under for total runs for the Yankees as they are capable of putting up double-digit runs on any given night. Look for New York to show off the power on Saturday as they score at least six runs.
Arizona Diamondbacks at San Diego Padres
Best Bet: Diamondbacks Over 3 Runs
The Arizona Diamondbacks have had another rough season, even if it has gone better than expected at times. Arizona is a road underdog to the San Diego Padres, but this team does actually have some firepower.
Don’t expect Arizona to have a big offensive night on Saturday, but they are capable of scoring at least four runs. Take the over 3.0 runs as they do some damage.
Los Angeles Dodgers at Los Angeles Angels
Best Bet: Dodgers Over 5 Runs
The Los Angeles Dodgers beat up on the Angels on Friday night, winning by a score of 9-1. This team just continues to win baseball games, and they have scored at least six runs in four of their last five matchups.
The Angels just continue to fall short of expectations, and the rotation has been a mess outside of Shohei Ohtani. This is going to be another big night on offense for the Dodgers, and they won’t have much trouble scoring at least six runs.
