The most popular MLS betting option is match betting, which enables you to wager on individual games. You can bet on the winner of a match, both teams to score, goal totals, handicaps, correct score and many other aspects of a game.

MLS Futures Betting

Also known as futures, outright markets allow you bet on the overall winner of a title or award. For example, you could back Los Angeles FC to win the MLS Cup, or you might back Jesus Ferreira to win the Golden Boot.

MLS Predictions

Live MLS Betting

Live betting is another exciting way to wager on Major League Soccer. In-play markets give you the chance to predict the next team to score, next goalscorer, next player to receive a card, next team to win a corner and other live events.

MLS Props Betting

If you fancy trying something a little bit different, MLS props are for you. These unique wagers enable you to bet on special occurrences on non-occurrences, such as the total number of goals scored by a player in a season and the total number of corners awarded in a match.

Major League Soccer comprises 29 teams – 26 from the United States and three based in Canada. The teams are split between two conferences, with 15 competing in the Eastern Conference and 14 in the Western Conference.

At the end of the regular season, the top seven teams in each conference advance to the MLS Cup Playoffs, while the teams ranked 8th and 9th enter the Wild Card round for the chance compete in the postseason.

Soccer Correct Score Betting Guide

The following knockout tournament sees teams drop out in Round One, Conference Semifinals and Conference Finals. At the end of the playoffs, the two remaining teams from each conference enter the MLS Cup Final.

The final is a one-off match, meaning extra time and/or penalties are used to determine the champion if the score is level after 90 minutes. Naturally, extra time and penalties always add extra spice from a betting perspective.

In addition to betting on the MLS Cup winner, you can also wager on the winner of the Supporters’ Shield. This award is given to the team with the best record at the end of the regular season and often serves up attractive odds.
