There was a lot of volume last week, and our top NBA handicappers hit the courts hard with toals and spreads. While the overall win rate went down, profit is up overall.
Check out who did the best last week, and what games we’re watching out for in NBA week 13.
Knupp Sports Sticks to Basics, Comes Out on Top
Knupp Sports has been a regular conversation piece for a while, with their consistency issues stopping them from hitting top 5 regularly.
But, they seemed to have turned their act around, and made #1 last week. They went 19-12 with a 61% win rate, winning $580 in profit.
They split their wagers up between spreads and totals, winning totals more often. It can be tough to climb the latter with -110 odds on all your wagers, but Knupp Sports bet volume to counter the low odds.
The #2 last week, Computer Picks, had the same strategy. While they flooded more totals than spreads, their volume betting managed to pay off as well.
The Best NBA Handicappers Last Week
Last week, the top handicappers for basketball went 54-31 for an overall win rate of 63.5%. This was quite a change from the previous week, where the betting volume of the top 5 was very low, but the win rate was around 87%.
But, the top five did manage to win $1,990, compared to $1,790 in the previous week. All in all, a solid performance from handicappers.
Where We’re Betting This Week
Tonight we’ve got the Grizzlies playing the Spurs, and a few of our handicappers have their picks in already:
It looks like there’s a bit of a tie here, with two cappers betting the -3 spread on the Grizzlies, the other two betting the +3.5 on the Spurs. I think the Grizzlies are a bit more favorable here, but it could be anyone’s victory.
Tomorrow we see the Thunder play the Cavaliers, both of whom are at the top of their division. That’s bound to be an interesting game, and I’d definitely avoid the moneyline there, as it could go either way.
Later in the weekend, we see the Pacers play the 76ers. This probably won’t be a wild game, but it’s important for the Pacers, who have been teetering on the edge of #6 in the division.
