NBA betting has been in a slump for a while, but last week was a great showing from our handicappers. With almost $3,000 in combined winnings, our top 5 handicappers really put in work.
Check out what they did last week, and get ready to bet along their picks in NBA week 10.
Knup Sports Really Cleans Up
Knup Sports – POTD has seen its ups and downs, but last week was definitely a high point for them.
As you can see from their overall numbers, they used the power of the spread wager to bank over $1,000 in winnings, while narrowly breaking even with moneylines. If they’d stuck to spreads, I’m sure that their win rate would be 10 to 15% higher.
Handicappers At the Top of Their Game Last Week
After a few slow weeks, we finally see some good action on the NBA from our handicappers. Last week, our top five handicappers went 42-12 for a combined win rate of 77.78%.
They won $2,881 overall, practically doubling the profit from the top 5 in the previous week.
Bad Beat of the Week
Most Bad Beats involve negative profit and abysmal picks, but this week, I want to highlight Logan Wilson. By all accounts, Wilson is a great handicapper, and he came in second last week for the NBA.
But he could have had a 9-pick win streak had it not been for the spread he made on the Trail Blazers. A +10 when the Trail Blazers play the Mavericks: oof, to say the least.
Where Our Money’s at This Week
On Saturday, we’re going to watch the Thunder bury the Charlotte Hornets, as they almost certainly will. The moneyline on that game will be insane, but the spreads and totals should be fair game.
Then we will watch the Hawks play the Raptors. Not sure exactly where that game will go, but as the Hawks struggle to break into the top 6 of the conference, we’re going to probably see them give it their all.
