Well, that’s a wrap on week 1 of the NBA regular season, and it was certainly a great start to what will likely be a great season.
Our top 10 NBA handicappers made more than $4,000 last week, many of who are strutting into week 2 with 100% win rates.
Check out which cappers were swishing threes last week in our recap below.
Bill Blatt Doesn’t Miss
Blatt started off the first week of the NBA regular season strong, with a 100% win rate on 6 total wagers, for a total of $600 in profit.
If we take a look at his wagers, we can see that he’s betting fairly conservatively, with spreads and totals sitting at a consistent -110. He’s betting $110 on each eager to win $100, for his grand total of $600.
For new bettors looking to get an edge, I’d suggest following Blatt closely. He’s pretty conservative and doesn’t bet on the dogs, and he doesn’t wager moneylines, so he’s more consistent than many other cappers. If you follow his picks, you’re probably going to make money in the long run.
Top 10 NBA Handicappers Who Made Money Last Week
We had a lot of hot streaks this week, and a lot of money was made betting on the NBA.
Bill Blatt, Ryan Davis, Joe Berra, and Billy Coleman all had a 100% win rate, starting the first week of the NBA season off strong.
Knup Sports, who had a dangerous week betting on the NHL last week, is doing much better, in the green $430 of of 23 winning wagers.
Coach Rick Loses Spreads by a Hair
Week 1 of the NBA season was quite kind to many of our handicappers, so there weren’t any tragic losses to be seen.
But, Coach Rick did have a nail-biting night matching the Timberwolves and Kings. Rick wagered a +1 spread for the Kings, and unfortunately lost the wager when the Timberwolves finished 117-115. I can only imagine the kind of stress Rick had watching that game!
He shouldn’t be too sad, though, he still went 7-3 overall last week, winning $470. Not a bad return for a 70% win rate!
Where Our Money’s at This Week
This upcoming week will be an interesting one, to say the least. The Cavaliers are leading the Eastern Conference with a 4-0 record, and they’re playing the Lakers, who are 3-1. It will be a pretty high-scoring game, we imagine. A few cappers are betting the over for totals already, and Knup Sports has the Lakers at +5 on the spread.
Friday we see the Celtics play the Hornets, and we expect a W for the Celtics on that one. But, watch out for the spread, as it might surprise you.
