NBA Player Props Picks for Sunday, December 18th 2022

The NBA isn’t worried about the NFL impacting its ratings too much. This Sunday, the NBA will have plenty of games available to be wagered on. Here’s a look at what players will step up or will struggle today.

NBA Bookies

Jordan Poole Over 24.5 Points (-113)

Warriors vs. Raptors Prediction

The Warriors guard is going to see an increase in his workload now that Steph Curry is out for an injury. With Golden State struggling to stay in the playoff race, the Warriors will need Poole to step up and score points. Playing without Curry last Friday, Poole played 37 minutes and scored 29 points on 10-of-20 shooting.

There will be plenty of opportunities for Poole to score against Chicago Sunday.

NBA Odds

Kevin Durant Over 5.5 Rebounds (-120)

Nets vs. Pistons Prediction

The Brooklyn Nets forward has been getting a ton of work on the court this season. Durant is averaging 36.7 minutes per game when he plays. During that time span, Durant has done a good job tracking down loose balls.

Durant averages 6.6 rebounds per game and has grabbed seven or more rebounds four times in the past ten games.

Julius Randle Over 2.5 3-Pointers (+104)

Knicks vs. Pacers Prediction

The Knicks forward has been more aggressive shooting from the perimeter recently. During New York’s past five games, Randle has attempted seven or more 3-pointers in every game. The Knicks star forward has made three or more treys in four of the past five games.

New York will be playing Indiana, which allows its opponents to make 36.7 percent of its 3-pointers per game. The Pacers rank 23rd in the league in perimeter defense.

NBA Picks

Terry Rozier Over 19.5 Points (-115)

Hornets vs. Nuggets Prediction

The Charlotte Hornets guard hit a wall during their game against Atlanta Friday. Rozier had a string of seven consecutive 20-point scoring games halted when he finished with 10 in 32 minutes of play against Atlanta. Rozier only took 11 shots when he had taken 20 or more in the seven games previous to that.

On the season, Rozier averages 21.8 points per game. He has made at least two three-pointers in six straight games. Rozier will get back to taking more than 20 shots and push his scoring total over.

Bol Bol Under 9.5 Points (-105)

Magic vs. Celtics Prediction

Orlando Magic forward Bol Bol is a boom-or-bust type of player. He is capable of putting up more than 20 points, but is also prone to long stretches without scoring.

Against the Celtics, Bol may not be getting many opportunities. The Celtics are an excellent all-around team that likes to push the pace.

What that means is that the 7-foot-2 Bol may see fewer minutes to play. Orlando can’t afford to sacrifice his defensive issues with more consistent offensive play.

Against the Celtics on Friday, Bol only played 19 minutes and scored four points on one of five shooting from the field. Bol is averaging 12.4 points per game this season.
