Are you looking for the top NBA player props picks for Sunday, January 15th? Look no further. You will be pleased to learn that I have trawled the NBA odds to find the best bets for Sunday’s games.
With a total of eight match-ups on the schedule, there is no shortage of exciting NBA player props to take advantage of. Let’s start with the game between the Detroit Pistons and New York Knicks.
Julius Randle – Over 11.5 Rebounds (-130)
The New York Knicks will be confident of extending their winning streak to three games when they face the struggling Detroit Pistons on Sunday. Indeed, the Pistons find themselves second from bottom in the Eastern Conference – eight places below the Knicks.
Julius Randle has been immense for the Knicks of late, racking up points, rebounds and assists. Having registered 16 rebounds in each of his previous three appearances, he shouldn’t struggle to notch over 11.5 rebounds against lowly Detroit.
Draymond Green – Over 6.5 Assists (+100)
When it comes to forwards, Draymond Green boasts the fourth-best assists-per-game average in the NBA this season. The Golden State Warriors star averages 6.6 assists per game, having chalked up 34 across the past five games.
On Sunday, the Warriors face the Chicago Bulls, who sit tenth in the East following three straight losses. With Golden State sitting pretty in sixth place in the Western Conference, I’m confident that Green will extend his streak of assists at United Center.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope – Over 1.5 Threes (-165)
The Denver Nuggets are expected to make light work of the Orlando Magic at Ball Arena. After all, the Nuggets find themselves atop the West following five successive wins, with the Magic sitting third from bottom in the East.
It is worth noting that Denver’s Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has the second-best three-point percentage in the NBA this season (48.4%). With that in mind, I’m backing him to throw at least two threes on Sunday.
Domantas Sabonis – Over 13.5 Rebounds (+105)
No player in the NBA has racked up more rebounds than Domantas Sabonis this season. The Sacramento Kings superstar has registered 499 rebounds in 40 outings, meaning he averages 12.5 rebounds per game in 2022-23.
On Sunday, the high-flying Kings will fancy their chances of dominating the San Antonio Spurs, who sit second from bottom in the West after suffering four consecutive defeats. I expect Sabonis to record over 13.5 rebounds in the process.
Kawhi Leonard – Over 26.5 Points (-115)
The Houston Rockets head to Crypto.com Arena on a dismal nine-game losing streak. Consequently, they find themselves rock bottom of the Western Conference – seven places below the Los Angeles Clippers.
Kawhi Leonard has registered 86 points across the previous three games (28.7 points per game). Given that Houston has the worst record in the entire league, I can see Leonard notching over 26.5 points this weekend.
