NCAA Football Week 15 Over/Under Picks

Bowl season is almost here, so that means that regular-season college football action is running out. The end of the regular season is a great time to bet on totals. That is because we have seen plenty of evidence on every team’s capability in 2020.

NCAA Football Live Odds

Here are four totals that will stay under this Saturday.

Michigan State at Penn State Over/Under Pick

Best Bet: Under 47 Points

Michigan State and Penn State have both had disappointing seasons in 2020. Penn State is on a two-game winning streak and sitting at 2-5, while Michigan State is 2-4. The Spartans’ two victories have come over Michigan and Northwestern.

Michigan State has gone under twice in six games. This is because it has a very weak defensive unit and has played talented offenses. Penn State has gone under four times this year in seven games.

Michigan State will have difficulty scoring against Penn State. The offense is only averaging 17 points per game. Starting quarterback Rocky Lombardi has thrown more interceptions than touchdowns this season.

Penn State is scoring 24 points per game and should have some success on Saturday. However, the unit has been very inconsistent in 2020.

The highest-scoring effort the Nittany Lions have had in their past five contests was 27 against Michigan. This is why I love the under on Saturday.

Oklahoma State at Baylor Over/Under Pick

Best Bet: Under 49 Points

The reputation in the Big 12 is that teams in the conference don’t play defense. This has been the case throughout the league at times.

However, Oklahoma State and Baylor aren’t awful on the defensive side of the football. Baylor, at 2-6, is giving up 27 points per game. This isn’t bad for a league that’s defined by offense.

Oklahoma State is 6-3 and giving up 24 points per game. I expect Baylor’s offense to have some trouble.

The unit is led by quarterback Charlie Brewer who is having a solid senior campaign. However, Oklahoma State is strong against the pass.

Baylor doesn’t like to run the football. The teams are a combined 6-10-1 against the over/under this year.

Strong defenses and average offenses will keep this game under.

College Football Week 15 Predictions

UAB at Rice Over/Under Pick

Best Bet: Under 44.5 Points

UAB has gone over four times in seven games. It is scoring 30 points per game, but I believe it will have some trouble on Saturday.

UAB hasn’t played a football game since Oct. 31 due to COVID-19 cancellations. On Saturday, the Blazers will be facing one of the best defensive units in Conference USA.

Rice is giving up only 18 points per game. The Owls are coming off a shutout over then-No. 21 Marshall one week ago.

Rice also isn’t a great offensive team. Rice loves to throw the ball, but UAB is strong defensively in this area.

For the Owls to score, they’ll need to favor the run. Their leading rusher, Khalan Griffin, has only racked up 215 yards in four games.

UAB loves to run the ball. This will keep the clock ticking. Even though 44.5 is a low total, I can’t see this game going over.

Navy at Army Over/Under Pick

Best Bet: Under 38 Points

When service academies meet, the under is a common theme. From 2005 to 2019, the under has gone 34-9 when two service academies compete.

The Army-Navy game has gone under in 14 straight meetings. The total has only gone over twice in the last 17 contests.

It’s very hard to argue with these numbers. History tends to repeat itself in sports, so I love the under on Saturday.

Navy is the weaker team in the contest. Army has a juggernaut offense compared to the Midshipmen.

Navy is going to give up points. The Midshipmen’s defensive front will have a difficult time handling the Army rushing attack.

However, both teams run the ball consistently. This will keep the clock moving.

There is so much emotion in this game, and Navy will fight hard. Army will have to earn its victory. It’s tough to argue with history on Saturday.
