It all boils down to this, and we will soon find out who is headed to the Super Bowl from the AFC, and the NFC. Last week’s Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs was nothing short of outstanding. To make the point even more clear, those games may have been the best we have ever seen. They were certainly the best we have seen in well over a decade. Last week’s brand of football was fun, exciting, engaging, and each game gave us a different element of what we love about watching the NFL.
The Buffalo Bills are out, we thought they would be in, but we were wrong. That game was the best of the weekend and it topped off the weekend’s action in grand style. The Bills would put it up, then came the Chiefs. The Chiefs took a sizable lead and just when the fans had thought they had a win, back came the Bills. That game went to the wire, and it showed us the level of competition between Mahomes and Josh Allen. It was a fun game, a close one and we are looking for more of the same this weekend.
The Tennessee Titans forgot to show up! The Bengals brought the heat with Burrow and even though he saw the ground up close and personal for a record, 9-sacks, they still found a way to leave Nashville with a victory in their pocket. The Rams marched into Tampa and got it done against “The Great One” Tom Brady. It was a close one, a cliffhanger in the end and it looked as if Brady was going to do it again, but not this time. The Rams will be representing this Sunday for a trip to the dance.
The 49ers went to Green Bay and played their butts off on defense. This team went to Lambeau with passion and a chip on their shoulder; they were not denied. The 49ers look to be back in Super Bowl form. Who will it be, who survives this weekend? These two games offer a pile of betting options with sides, totals, a teaser, parlay, reverse action, and some fantastic game, and player props.

The Bengals come into this game riding an emotional high and that will carry them a long way in the pursuit of upsetting the favorite, Kansas City Chiefs. Last week’s win over the Titans was the biggest in more than 30-years for this beleaguered, Bengal franchise. Not many (including us) gave the Bengals a chance in that game. We would have not given them any kind of chance had we known that Burrow would be sacked 9-times!
The Titans never got the ball moving against the Bengals from the opening kickoff to the final score – the Titans never looked comfortable in their own skin. From the first field goal, 3-0 Bengals, at 12:03 left in the first quarter to 6-0 at 2:11, then finally the Titans made a move at 6:07 in the second with a Henry TD run, then on to another Bengals field goal at 1:35 making it 9-6. Off to the second half – more of the same from the Titans but the Bengals hit pay dirt with a TD on the ground from Mixon to take a commanding lead at 16-6.
The Titans came on late and scored a TD with 15 seconds left in the third, then nothing. What the Bengals did was upset the fruit basket. They had a game plan that mixed it up with Mixon’s 54 yards, and Chase having a great outing with 109 yards. The Bengals showed up on defense when it really mattered with 3 takeaways, which allowed them 8 extra minutes of play clock time on offense.
By quarters, the Bengals allowed 6, 3, 7, and 3 points. Can they play this kind of defense against the Chiefs? Will they stick to this game plan?
The Chiefs may be looking at their match. This game is no walk in the park and if they choose to overlook the Bengals – BIG MISTAKE? We did overlook them and look at us! The Bills were a formidable foe, and that game went our way, but it certainly could have and SHOULD have gone to the Bills. Thanks to bad clock management and the Chiefs outcoaching the Bills – the Chiefs picked up the victory, which was a fun game, a barnburner.
The Bengals are allowing 17.5 points per game, and we think this will give them the push they need to keep this game close from start to finish. The Chiefs are allowing 28.5 points per game and that number does not and will not win a championship. The Bengals are scoring 27.1 points per game to the Chiefs 28.2 points per game.
The only way the Chiefs get this win is with a whole lot of discipline that says we will go to the run first. The Bengals allow 121.5 yards per game on the ground, and the Chiefs are racking up 115 rushing yards per game. Andy Reid has surprised us, especially in the second half of the season. He adjusted his game plan, and it has worked. He must stick to it in this one or he’s cooked.
Burrow will have a big day and the offensive line will get their act together for this affair. Mahomes will have a big day as well, but we see Mixon having a HUGE game. 1st – go Mixon – 2nd, go Burrow… The Nati brings it home!
Prediction: Bengals Money Line Win, take the +7 as the Underdog, but we say the Bengals win the game outright. Under The total combined score of 54.5.

The 49ers have beaten the Rams twice this year and neither time was a fluke or by accident. The 49ers are a good football team with an elite defense that holds their opponents to 13.5 points per game.
The last five games for the 49ers look like this: Last week in Green Bay with a win over the Packers in the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs, 2022, 13-10. The week before in a Wild Card matchup in Dallas with a win over the Cowboys, 23-17, the Rams in LA, the last game of the season to make the playoffs and knock the Rams out of the division title, 27-24, in OT. The week before against Houston, 23-7. And a loss to the Tennessee Titans, in Nashville on the 3 rd of December.
The 49ers have won 8 of their last 12 regular-season games. They did suffer a 4-game losing streak that started in Green Bay, back on September 26th, they went on to lose to Seattle, Arizona, and the Indianapolis Colts. They lost 3-games after October 24th, to Arizona, Seattle, and Tennessee.
There is no question that the 49ers losses were bad, however, Garoppolo was out for an extended period. Garoppolo is a steady quarterback that may not blow teams away, and he won’t blow the doors down with numbers, but the man is a winner, and he wins big games.
The greatest news of all for 49ers fans, Garoppolo doesn’t have to do a darn thing! Just show up and don’t turn the ball over. This defense for the 49ers is tuned up and they are ready to lay it on the line in LA.
The Rams have won 4 of the last 5-games with their one loss coming by way of these 49ers, in LA. They have beaten Tampa and Tom! 30-27 in what was a thrilling close game, oh so close to featuring another Brady, come from behind victory in the playoffs.
The Rams beat the Cardinals in the Wild Card round. 34-11, the Ravens in Baltimore on the 2nd, 20-19, and the Vikings back on the 26th, 30-23.
The Rams are allowing 19.0 points per game and yes, that is 5.5 more than the 49ers are allowing, however, the Rams are allowing a tight-fisted 56 rushing yards to the 49ers 72 on the ground. Both defensive units play extremely well but one must give the nod to 56 yards on the ground.
The Rams have the best quarterback in this game, and we think he will shine in the spotlight at home. It is an extremely difficult task to beat a team 3-times in the same season, but we don’t anchor our hopes on that stat, we anchor our hopes on the explosive offense from the Rams. We love the 49ers brand of defense; however, it reminds us of a Bill Parcells team that allowed 13 per game and scored 14 per game! We know this is hyperbole – you get the point. The 49ers are a “bog it down, grind it out” kind of team and against the Rams, a third time – NOPE, not going to work. The Rams have adjusted, and they will be ready for the 49ers. Expect a game for the ages from Kupp.
Prediction: Rams -3.5, Under 46
