The NFL Divisional Round is this weekend, with two games on Saturday and two on Sunday. We’re going to predict the point spread winner for each of the four match-ups on the schedule.
The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will be in action this week.
Jaguars vs. Chiefs ATS Pick for Divisional Round
When: Saturday, January 21st 2023 at 4:30 PM ET
Best Bet: Chiefs -8.5 (-110)
The Chiefs (7-10 ATS) finished the regular season on a 10-1 run, but were just 3-7-1 ATS. KC went 3-5 ATS at home and 6-9 ATS as a favorite. The Jaguars (9-9 ATS) are 4-5 ATS on the road this season.
KC rank #1 in points scored (29.2 PPG) and #1 in passing yards (297.8 PYPG). The Jaguars allow 239.3 PYPG (27th). KC also rank #7 against the run (107.2 RYPG) and will be able to limit Travis Etienne.
Jacksonville were down 27-0 against LAC before pulling off a miraculous comeback to win (31-30), but don’t expect that to happen against KC. The Chiefs will cruise to a 10+ point victory on Saturday.
Giants vs. Eagles ATS Pick for Divisional Round
When: Saturday, January 21st 2023 at 8:15 PM ET
Best Bet: Eagles -7.5 (-110)
The Giants (14-4 ATS) defeated Minnesota on Sunday (31-24). Daniel Jones threw for 300+ yards for the third time this season. However, the Eagles (8-9 ATS) rank #1 in passing yards allowed (179.8 PYPG).
In the two H2H games this season, the Eagles won in week 14 (48-22) and week 18 (22-16).
Philly score 28.1 PPG (3rd) and allow 20.2 PPG (8th). The Eagles rank #5 in rushing yards (147.6 RYPG) and should be able to run all over the Giants defense, which allows 139.6 RYPG (27th).
Bengals vs. Bills ATS Pick for Divisional Round
When: Sunday, January 22nd 2023 at 3:00 PM ET
Best Bet: Bengals +5 (-110)
The Bengals (12-5 ATS) went 7-2 ATS on the road and 2-0 as an underdog this season. The Bills (8-8-1 ATS) are just 4-5 ATS at home this season. Both teams failed to cover ATS in the wild card round.
These two teams were supposed to play in week 17, but the game was canceled after Damar Hamlin’s scary injury. These teams don’t meet often, but the underdog is 7-2 ATS in the last nine H2H meetings.
Buffalo rank #2 in points scored (28.8 PPG) and #2 in points allowed (18.6 PPG), while Cincy rank #7 in points scored (26 PPG) and #6 in points allowed (19.9 PPG) this season.
This will be a close game with the game being decided by a field goal or less.
Cowboys vs. 49ers ATS Pick for Divisional Round
When: Sunday, January 22nd 2023 at 6:30 PM ET
Best Bet: 49ers -3.5 (-110)
The 49ers (12-6 ATS) are 9-1 (8-2 ATS) at home this season. The Cowboys (11-7 ATS) are 5-4 ATS on the road and 3-2 ATS as an underdog. SF defeated Dallas in the wild card round last year (23-17).
San Francisco rank #1 in points allowed (16.7 PPG). Dallas scores 27.7 PPG (4th) and the 49ers score 27.3 PPG (5th). Dak Prescott will find some success against SF’s passing defense (223.2 PYPG – 20th).
However, the 49ers defense will produce a timely turnover or two to seal a victory.
