There’s a Monday Night Football doubleheader for week 2.
The Buffalo Bills host the Tennessee Titans in the first game at 7:15 PM ET and the Philadelphia Eagles host the Minnesota Vikings in the second game at 8:30 PM ET.
Here are the top five player props picks for the two MNF games for week 2.
Stefon Diggs to Score a TD (+100)
Diggs hauled in 8 receptions for 122 yards and 1 TD on 9 targets in week 1 against the Rams.
He’s Josh Allen’s top target and will generally receive around 10 targets every game. The Titans allowed two passing TDs in a loss to the Giants in week 1 and Allen will be able to move the football.
Last season, the Titans defeated the Bills (34-31) in a high-scoring game. Diggs had 9 receptions for 89 yards and 1 TD on 11 targets in the loss. There’s a good chance Diggs finds the endzone on MNF.
Derrick Henry Over 84.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
Henry struggled last week. He rushed for only 82 yards on 21 carries against the Giants. The Bills were able to shut down the Rams rushing attack last week as well, allowing 52 yards on 18 carries.
However, Henry is capable of breaking a big run at any time. He should also have a big workload, as the Titans will be aiming to keep the potent Bills offense off the field as much as possible.
In last season’s H2H match-up, Henry rushed for 143 yards and 3 TDs on 20 carries.
Randy Bullock Over 1.5 Field Goals Made (+145)
We’re getting a good price on this player prop. Bullock was 2/3 on field goals in week 1.
I expect the Titans to have some success moving the football against the Bills, but they’ll have to settle for FG attempts. I could see this prop cashing before halftime and we’re getting plus money.
Dalvin Cook to Score a TD (-110)
Cook rushed for 90 yards on 20 carries against GB, but didn’t find the endzone. He also had 3 receptions for 18 yards. This week, Cook has a great match-up against a weak rushing defense.
The Lions rushed for 181 yards and 3 TDs on 28 carries against Philly in week 1. There’s a good chance Cook will score at least one touchdown. It wouldn’t surprise me if he scored multiple TDs in week 2.
Miles Sanders Over 57.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
Sanders rushed for 96 yards and 1 TD on just 13 carries (7.4 Avg) in week 1. The Vikings allowed 111 rushing yards on 18 carries (6.2 Avg) against GB. Sanders will find space to run the football.
They need to feed him the football more often this week. If he gets 15+ rushing attempts, he’ll easily cash this prop bet. This should be a close game where the Eagles won’t have to abandon the run.
