The Cleveland Browns host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football to kick-off week 3.
There are lots of props to bet on. In many cases, betting props is easier to win consistently, as there are less factors to consider than betting on the point spread or game total.

Here are the top NFL player props picks for the Steelers vs. Browns week 3 TNF match-up:
Mitchell Trubisky Over 21.5 Pass Completions (-125)
Trubisky has completed 42/71 passes for 362 yards, 2 TDs and 1 INT this season. He completed 21/38 in a week 1 win that went to overtime and he completed 21/33 in a week 2 loss against the Patriots.
The Browns are allowing 21.5 pass completions per game (14th) this season.
Cleveland are only allowing 73.5 rushing yards per game. It’s likely the Browns will have a lead in this game and that’ll force Trubisky into throwing more often. He’ll be able to complete 22+ passes in week 3.
Najee Harris Under 56.5 Rushing Yards (-120)
Harris only has 72 rushing yards (0 TDs) on 25 carries this season. Harris looked a bit better last week, as he rushed for 49 yards on 15 carries against the Patriots, but it’s not what fantasy owners expect.
The game script will likely mean Harris has limited carries in this match-up. I expect him to be active in the passing game, but he’s going to struggle finding running room against the Browns defensive front.
Amari Cooper Over 50.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Cooper struggled in his first game with the Browns, but he and Jacoby Brissett showed better chemistry in week 2. Expect that to continue, as Brissett is going to lean on his #1 WR.
Cooper hauled in 9 receptions for 101 yards and 1 TD against the Jets. The next highest reception total on the team was three last week. Cooper is going to be targeted a lot in this game.
The Steelers have a weak secondary that’s allowing 275.5 passing yards per game (28th). Brissett isn’t going to be setting any records on Sunday, but Cooper should be able to exceed 51+ receiving yards.
Amari Cooper Over 4.5 Receptions (+130)
We’re getting a great price on this player prop. Even in week 1, with Cooper struggling and in his first game with the Browns, he hauled in three receptions (six targets).
If Cooper receives 10+ targets, he’ll easily exceed 5 receptions and we’re getting plus money. Pittsburgh have struggled in the secondary and Cooper is one of the top WRs they’ve faced this season.
Myles Garrett Over 0.75 Sacks (-110)
The Browns had four sacks against the Panthers and two sacks against the Jets. Garrett has three sacks this season. With him and Jadeveon Clowney rushing Trubisky, there should be a few sacks on TNF.
We’re betting on Garrett to get another sack in week 3 to continue his strong start to the season.
Trubisky has been sacked four times this season and there will be opportunities to get him to the ground, as he isn’t very quick. Garrett gets the most pressure on this defense and is the guy to target for a sack.
