Here are the top five NFL player props for week 13:
Justin Jefferson Anytime TD Scorer (-105)
Justin Jefferson has five receiving touchdowns with Minnesota this season and one more running the ball against New Orleans on Oct. 2. He has three catches for touchdowns in his last four games. Jefferson is tied for most touchdowns (6) with Dalvin Cook for the Vikings this year.
The New York Jets defense is giving up 197.5 yards in the passing game, which is ninth in the NFL. However, they face the Vikings, Buffalo and Detroit in the next three games. Jefferson has a good chance to score a TD catching the ball against New York.
Jalen Hurts First TD Scorer (+650)
It may be going out on a limb at +650 odds to be a first TD scorer in this game, but Jalen Hurts has eight rushing touchdowns in 11 games this year. He leads the team on an offense that has scored a touchdown the majority of the first time it touches the ball.
Tennessee’s Derrick Henry has lower odds to score first (+550), but the Eagles defense has shut things down in the first quarter at home for most of the season. Hurts will get things started with a running score on his first possession.
Derek Carr Over 253.5 Passing Yards (-115)
Chargers vs. Raiders Predictions
Derek Carr has completed 242 passes for 2730 yards in 11 games this season and that averages to be 248.2 yards a game. He eclipsed his average in four of the last five games with 1109 yards passing the ball.
The Los Angeles Chargers defense is allowing 217.4 passing yards per game this year, which is 20th in the league. The Raiders are giving up 253.0 yards per game through the air, which is ranked 26th in the NFL. Carr will try and keep up with Justin Herbert and the Chargers offense passing the ball.
Joe Burrow Longest Completion Over 38.5 Yards (-120)
Chiefs vs. Bengals Predictions
In a late-afternoon rematch against the Kansas City Chiefs on week 13, quarterback Joe Burrow will be at his best leading Cincinnati’s offense. This is the first time they have met since the AFC Championship last season.
Burrow has 279 completions this year for 3160 passing yards in 11 games. His longest attempt passing the ball is 60 yards and his average is 7.7 yards per catch. His wide receivers (Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd and Ja’Marr Chase) are all capable of breaking loose for a big play.
Dak Prescott Over 249.5 Passing Yards (-115)
Quarterback Dak Prescott is averaging 232.2 passing yards in his first six games this season and he has exceeded his season average in his last four games. Last Thursday, he completed 21 of 30 passing attempts for 261 yards at home against the New York Giants.
Prescott has wide receivers CeeDee Lamb, Noah Brown and Michael Gallup in the game, along with tight end Dalton Schultz and running back Tony Pollard. He is averaging 263 passing yards in those last four games this season.
