NFL team to win most & least games in 2020

One of the more unique 2020 NFL futures markets is betting on the team to have the most or least regular season wins. I’ve only seen these futures available at BetOnline.

We’ve covered 2020 NFL regular season win totals already this off-season, but with this market you need to bet on which team you believe will finish the regular season with the most or least wins.

I’ve published the odds for both markets at the bottom of this article.

Team to Win the Most 2020 NFL Regular Season Games Predictions

The Baltimore Ravens led the NFL in regular season wins in 2019 with 14.

Three other teams won 13 games on their NFL schedule in 2019 (Packers, Saints and 49ers). It’s likely going to take another 13- or 14-win season to end the regular season with the most victories in 2020 as well.

Kansas City (+450) are favored to have the most wins.

The Chiefs went 12-4 last season and I don’t expect them to win more games in 2020. They went 7-1 in away games, but this year they play the Ravens, Bills and Saints on the road, so it’s unlikely they’ll be able to match their away record from last season. There’s definitely better value in this market.

Baltimore (+600) are a top contender to repeat. The Ravens two toughest games are likely going to be home games against the Chiefs and Cowboys, both of which are winnable games.

One concern I have with the Ravens is that most teams will be gunning for them after going 14-2 last season. However, the Ravens have an easy schedule, play in a weak division and have tons of talent.

If you’re looking for more value, target the Buffalo Bills (+2000).

The Bills finished with a 10-6 record in 2019, but two of those losses were against NE. With Tom Brady gone, the Patriots aren’t going to be as good in 2020 and the Bills could win the division.

Buffalo have some tough games against the Chiefs, Seahawks and 49ers, but the first two are at home. The Bills should be improved from last season and they benefit from a weaker division.

The Bills added a #1 WR in Stefon Diggs and with Devin Singletary leading the backfield from week 1, the offense will score more than the 19.6 PPG (23rd) they averaged in 2019. For more info on Singletary and player props, check out my article 2020 NFL rushing leader odds and predictions.

Team to Win the Least 2020 NFL Regular Season Games Predictions

The Cincinnati Bengals (2-14) finished with the worst record in 2019.

They’re among the favorites to finish with the least number of wins in 2020. Only one team has lower odds than the Bengals and that’s the Jaguars (+400). The Bengals, Panthers and Redskins all pay 6/1 to finish with the worst NFL regular season record in 2020.

The Redskins and Lions finished 2019 with three wins each. However, it’s not too difficult to forgive the Lions, as Matthew Stafford was injured for a big portion of the season.

My money is on the Redskins to have the worst record in 2020. Dwayne Haskins Jr. isn’t a great QB and he’s going to look terrible trying to throw to his brutal receiving unit. The Redskins #1 WR this season is Terry McLaurin. The offense is going to be among the league’s worst again.

In 2019, the Redskins averaged 16.6 PPG (32nd) and I don’t see that number improving much.

The defense should be a bit better, but after allowing 27.2 PPG (27th) in 2019, that’s not saying much. I’m excited to see how Chase Young performs in his rookie season with Washington.

There really isn’t a team paying above 6/1 that I’d even consider. I predict the two teams battling it out for the worst record in 2020 will be the Jaguars and Redskins.
