Chiefs vs. Ravens Week 3 Teaser Picks

Spread: Chiefs +3.5 / Tease: Chiefs +9.5

Kansas City is not an underdog very often. The last time the Chiefs were the dog with a healthy Patrick Mahomes at quarterback was in Week 6 of the 2018 season.

The Chiefs lost to New England 43-40 but did cover. It’s also worth noting that the Chiefs won the first two games of the 2018 season as underdogs of more than a field goal.

Kansas City is 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games and with the extra six points, does it seem possible a Mahomes-led Chiefs offense gets blown out by the Ravens?

Sure, Baltimore has a great defense. They have held opponents to just 210.5 yards passing so far this season and the Chiefs did struggle against the Chargers last week before winning on a last-second field goal.

The two teams battled last year at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. The Chiefs won 33-28. Baltimore winning by double digits on Monday night in prime time just doesn’t seem right.

49ers vs. Giants Week 3 Teaser Picks

Spread: Giants +4 / Tease: Giants +10

The 49ers pounded the Jets at MetLife Stadium last week and will play a second straight game there on Sunday when they face the Giants.

Last week’s game proved costly for San Francisco. The 49ers lost QB Jimmy Garoppolo, RB Raheem Mostert, and DE Joey Bosa to injuries. Garoppolo is listed as questionable and Mostert is out but should return in a few weeks.

Bosa and DT Solomon Thomas were both lost for the season to ACL injuries. TE George Kittle missed last week and is questionable for the Giants game.

The fact that the 49ers were 7-1 SU and 6-2 ATS on the road last season might not matter with all these injuries.

The extra six points given to the Giants means San Francisco has to win by double figures. Now, they did it last week, but the Giants are not the Jets.

Yes, New York will be without Saquon Barkley, who is also done for the season with an ACL injury. But, the Giants did some good things in their season-opening loss to Pittsburgh and lost to Chicago last week 17-13.

The Niners will not have Mostert or RB Tevin Coleman who is listed as out for Sunday. If Garoppolo doesn’t play, San Francisco will have trouble scoring points. Those extra six points will come in handy for the Giants.

Panthers vs. Chargers Week 3 Teaser Picks

Spread: Chargers -6.5 / Tease: Chargers -0.5

The Panthers have lost their last ten games in a row. They will play in Los Angeles on Sunday without their best player, RB Christian McCaffrey.

Just the third player in NFL history to rush for over 1,000 yards and have 1,000 yards-plus receiving in the same season, McCaffrey suffered a high ankle sprain in last week’s loss to Tampa Bay. He’ll be out four to six weeks.

Without McCaffrey, the Panthers offense will struggle. The Panthers star has scored four of the team’s five touchdowns this season.

On the other side, the Chargers nearly beat Kansas City last week with rookie quarterback Justin Herbert running the offense. Tyrod Taylor will start on Sunday if he’s healthy. Either way, the Chargers have to manufacture some offense.

The game total has gone Under in six of the Chargers last seven home games. The long trip out west will have an effect on Carolina. The Chargers win cover this teaser.
