NFL Thanksgiving: Three-Team Parlay Bet

Thanksgiving is known for a few things: Food, family, and football. The NFL always showcases three games on Thanksgiving that give bettors the opportunity to win big.

This year is no different. The three matchups on Thanksgiving this year are Houston at Detroit, Washington at Dallas, and Baltimore at Pittsburgh.

There are some over/under totals in each game that stand out. These totals create an epic three-team parlay that will end your Thanksgiving on a high note.

Houston Texans at Detroit Lions Prediction

Best Bet: Houston Team Total Over 27 Points

Houston gained its third win of the year last Sunday when it took down the Patriots. The Texans haven’t been able to win consistently, but this stat is deceptive. Two of their wins have come since the firing of head coach Bill O’Brien.

Quite frankly, this looks like a different football team. Deshaun Watson is still one of the league’s best at quarterback. He can make plays out of nothing, which we saw against the Patriots.

Statistically, Watson is having a phenomenal year. The Texans have struggled in the key moments, but Watson is a top 10 quarterback in all the main categories.

New England has a decent defense. Houston didn’t make them look so hot, but they’re a well-coached middle-of-the-road unit. I can’t say the same about the Lions.

The Lions are giving up close to 30 points per game, and teams are racking up 400 yards of offense weekly. I like Houston going over 27. They’ve been hot, and they’re hitting a cold Detroit defense.

Washington Football Team at Dallas Cowboys Prediction

Best Bet: Over 46 Points

These teams are a combined 9-10-1 on the over/under this season. Hear me out before you call me crazy for taking the over.

Andy Dalton is healthy again. He’s not Dak Prescott, but he has done more than a lot of quarterbacks in the NFL.

Ezekiel Elliott also looked solid last Sunday, which we haven’t seen much all year. This allowed the Cowboys to beat the Vikings 31-28. Washington has a good defense, so Dallas will need to bring this same effort on Thursday.

Dallas has the worst defense in the league when it comes to points allowed. Washington is no juggernaut, but Dallas will give it chances to score. The Cowboys take multiple plays off every single game.

Alex Smith is also gaining confidence in the pocket for Washington. If his offensive line can protect him, I think they’ll have success against the Dallas secondary. I can’t take the under when I look at these facts.

Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers Prediction

Best Bet: Over 45 Points

Both defenses in this matchup are phenomenal. This is the second matchup of the season between the two teams. They’re each giving up less than 20 points per game.

Despite this, a few weeks ago, these two teams combined for 52 points. The Ravens were playing better at the time, but Lamar Jackson can get the best of any defense.

The defenses are great, but the offenses are also top tier. Big-time offenses force shootouts, and that’s what we saw the last time they met. These teams are a combined 9-10-1 on the over/under this season.

This will be Ben Roethlisberger’s last Thanksgiving game, and I know he will want to make a statement. He has thrown 11 touchdowns to only one pick in his last four games.

The Ravens are also desperate for a win to keep their playoff hopes alive. I think 45 is dangerously low for these two squads. I love the over on Thursday night.

The Parlay (What Is a Parlay Bet?)

Houston – Over 27 (-115)

Washington at Dallas – Over 46 Points (-105)

Baltimore at Pittsburgh – Over 45 Points (-110)

A $10 bet would yield $59.68

A $50 bet would yield $298.42

A $100 bet would yield $596.84
