NFL Week 13 Anytime Touchdown Scorer Props Picks

I know what you’re probably saying. We go too much with the “favorites” when it comes to these propositions. But they are favorites for a reason – they are the most likely guys to score. Teams seek them out a bit. And they’re pretty good at finding the end zone.

Of course there are other factors, such as whether certain teams might be weak defending certain positions. Here we have focused a little on tight ends and teams that are very good either at running the ball or defending against the run.

Joe Mixon Props Picks for Week 13

Chargers vs. Bengals Prediction

Time: Sunday, December 5 (1 PM ET)

TD Scoring Odds: -165 to score “Anytime” Touchdown

Back when I saw Joe Mixon, then a star at the University of Oklahoma, punch out a female student in a cafe, I might not have expected big things from him. But I guess he issued a big apology and life went on.

And he has been accomplishing big things on the field for the Bengals. Last week he trrampled the Pittsburgh Steleers with 165 yards on the ground, and right now he is sitting with six TD’s in his last three games.

As it turns out, the Steleers are pretty permissive on the ground, and now along come the Chargers, who by at least one measure (rushing yards allowed per game) are even worse – in fact, 32nd in the NFL.

Cordarrelle Patterson Props Picks for Week 13

Buccaneers vs. Falcons Prediction

Time: Sunday, December 5 (1 PM ET)

TD Scoring Odds: -115 to score “Anytime” Touchdown

We just know that the Falcons went seven consecutive quarters without any points while Patterson was sidelined. And that changed last week. Patterson scored a couple of rushing TD’s against Jacksonville, and he now has nine touchdowns for the season.

It’s the versatility that becomes key for this guy. He’s adequate out of the backfield, averaging 4.4 yards per carry, and he’s headed toward a career high in receptions. Patterson and Matt Ryan have succeeded on 78.8% of their intended connections.

Miles Sanders Props Picks for Week 13

Eagles vs. Jets Prediction

Time: Sunday, December 5 (1 PM ET)

TD Scoring Odds: +105 to score “Anytime” Touchdown

The twist to this one is that Sanders has not yet scored a rushing touchdown. Yet the Eagles are the league’s top rushing team, which is often going to happen when you average over 200 yards on the ground for a five-game period.

And somebody is going to have to get some carries. As we write this, Jalen Hurts has been dealing with a bad ankle that has kept him out of practice until Thursday, and we are not certain he is going to be running the ball with as much abandon as we might usually expect. Jordan Howard is out, and Boston Scott has been dealing with an illness that has kept him out of practice.

Frankly, we would like to see Sanders get more carries. This may be his chance. And he is averaging 5.2 yards per carry.

Pat Freiermuth Props Picks for Week 13

Ravens vs. Steelers Prediction

Time: Sunday, December 5 (4:25 PM ET)

TD Scoring Odds: +210 to score “Anytime” Touchdown

In his last five games, Freiermuth has more targets inside the five-yard line than any tight end in the NFL does, period. Now the problem for Pittsburgh is to get inside the five. The rookie from Penn State has had five TD’s in his last five games.

And aside from that, Baltimore hasn’t been all that sensational against tight ends this season (11.9 yards per reception, seven TD’s). And I find that strange, because they have a chance to practice against some pretty good tight ends.

Brevin Jordan Props Picks for Week 13

Colts vs. Texans Prediction

Time: Sunday, December 5 (1 PM ET)

TD Scoring Odds: +700 to score “Anytime” Touchdown

Yeah, we could go with Jonathan Taylor yet again for this game. But now you’re not getting real good odds with him (-250). One thing you have to take notice of, however, is that the Colts have been one of the absolute worst teams in the NFL at defending the tight end position.

Indy has allowed 71% completions, eleven yards per completion and over eight yards per target to tight ends. There are a few Houston tight ends that we have seen numbers on. But Jordan Akins seems to be getting phased out a little, and then there is Pharoah Brown. But Jordan, a very good tight end from Miami (FL) who was drafted in the fifth round, has been in on a lot of snaps, both in the “11” (one tight end) and “12” two-tight end packages. he’s only had nine receptions, but two of them have been for touchdowns. And it’s a nice score if we get a little fortunate.
