NFL Week 13 Moneyline Underdog Picks

Coach Rick likes the home underdogs in Week 13. The Falcons, Cardinals, and 49ers are all underdogs at home this week.

Last week in fifteen games – prior to the Wednesday night Steelers-Ravens matchup – the underdog went 10-5 ATS. There’s hope for the home dog.

New Orleans Saints vs. Atlanta Falcons Picks

The Falcons played well early in their first meeting against the Saints, but then the New Orleans defense shut them down. That could happen again as Atlanta WR Julio Jones is listed as questionable. Still, the Falcons beat the Raiders last week 43-6.

Remember, it will be Taysom Hill at quarterback for New Orleans and not Drew Brees. That limits the Saints offense somewhat, but Atlanta isn’t all that good defensively. They are, however, better since head coach Dan Quinn was fired earlier in the season.

With a limited passing game, the Saints might not be able to keep up with Atlanta which is actually 4-2 straight up in its last six games. Watch out. The Falcons pull off the upset at home.

Los Angeles Rams vs. Arizona Cardinals Picks

Neither the Rams nor the Cardinals looked all that great last week. The Cardinals haven’t covered a spread in their last four games. Now, Arizona is 6-5 and fading in the super-competitive NFC West.

The Rams ended up getting beat by San Francisco for a second time this season in a 23-20 defeat last week. The Rams offense has scored 20 points or less in each of its four losses this season. One plus is that Arizona has given up 28 or more points in four of the Cardinals last five games.

As a home dog, the Cardinals will lean heavily on QB Kyler Murray who did not play all that well against L.A. last year. He needs to redeem himself and Arizona needs a win … badly. It will be a monumental upset since the Rams have had great success against Arizona recently.

The Rams are 6-0 straight up in their last six games against the Cardinals. Los Angeles is also 5-0 ATS in their last five games against the Cardinals in Arizona.

After scoring 30 or more points in five consecutive games, the Cardinals have averaged 19 in their last two games, both of which were losses. That will change in Week 13 as Murray and Arizona pull off the upset.

Buffalo Bills vs. San Francisco 49ers Picks

Buffalo is 4-1 straight up in their last five games and 3-0 ATS in their three. The Bills are 8-3 overall and in first place in the AFC East, a division they have not won since 1995. Buffalo still has games remaining with Pittsburgh and Miami, but can’t afford to look ahead past San Francisco.

The 49ers just won’t go away. After suffering an unbelievable number of injuries to key players, the Niners have somehow managed to go 5-6, including last week’s upset of the L.A. Rams. It was San Fran’s second win over the Rams. The last time they beat L.A. the Niners followed it up with a win over New England.

This is still a very good San Francisco defense. The 49ers aren’t healthy enough, but at home they will find a way to pull this upset.

Best Moneyline Pick: 49ers +125
