Week 14’s Monday night game is an AFC North showdown between the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns.
The 7-5 Ravens visit the 9-3 Browns with serious AFC Wild Card implications. The Browns are currently the fifth seed in the conference, while the Ravens are a game back of the seventh and final spot.
Baltimore has opened as a two-point favorite, with an over/under set at 47 points.

Baltimore Ravens
The visiting Ravens are coming off a 34-17 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday night, snapping a three-game losing streak.
Lamar Jackson and this Ravens offense have fallen from grace after Jackson’s MVP campaign a year ago.
No matter what type of website ranking you use, the Ravens’ passing game comes in in the bottom third of the NFL. Their group of receivers leaves a lot to be desired, and it’s partly why this offensive identity is built around running the ball.
The Ravens employ a time-share between Mark Ingram, JK Dobbins and Gus Edwards. Their rushing DVOA efficiency is top five, but their rushing and run-blocking units are both ranked 20th in the NFL on PFF.
The defense is good, not great. This is not the Ravens defense you’re used to seeing. The Ravens are 6-6 against the spread and 5-7 for the over/unders.

Cleveland Browns
The Browns are rolling at 9-3, winners of four straight. The team’s game plan is simple: Run the ball down other teams’ throats.
The success between running backs Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt opens up the rest of the offense, with the team finding solid success through the air of late.
Quarterback Baker Mayfield has done a tremendous job of holding on to the ball. Mayfield hasn’t thrown an interception since Oct. 25, and avoiding these costly mistakes is most definitely a factor in the team’s winning ways.
Cleveland’s offense dropped 41 on the Titans a week ago and has shown its explosiveness throughout the year.
The backbone of this team’s success is their offensive line, ranked No. 1 in the NFL in both pass-blocking and run-blocking. The Browns’ best linemen, Wyatt Teller, was added to the COVID-19/reserve list earlier this week but is expected to be fine for Monday’s game.
This will be a big advantage going against a middling Ravens rush defense and a vulnerable secondary.
Cleveland’s defense is middle of the pack this year, with pass rush being its strength. Defensive end Myles Garrett leads the disruptive charge with 10.5 sacks.
Cleveland is 5-7 against the spread this year, and its games have gone over seven times.
Expert NFL Predictions
Monday Night Football Parlay
I like the Browns at home to take care of business against the Ravens. Yes, the Ravens beat the Browns 38-6 this year, but that was Week 1. Cleveland has shown way more potential, especially on offense, while Baltimore looks stale.
The analytics and rankings all point to Cleveland being the superior team. Beyond the spread, these are two middling defenses with offenses that can score, so I’ve got my eye on the over here.
Parlay: Cleveland +2, over 47 (+315)
Monday Night Football Teaser
Teasers, while giving you worse odds, allow for an easier range of outcomes. A teaser allows you to “buy” points and move the spread and over/under by six or seven points.
When I place a teaser, I typically like to go with six points, as it brings better value. This piece has stayed Browns-focused throughout and will continue that theme here with the teaser.
Teaser: Cleveland +8, over 41 (+100)
Still pretty good odds here. I’ll be taking it this Monday Night. Best of luck.
