Coach Rick did an admirable job last week in giving you some great teaser picks. He’ll do the same in Week 14, a make or break week for several NFL teams.

The race to the postseason continues and Coach Rick takes you there with two great two-team, six-point teasers – Bears-Chargers and Giants-Raiders. Here’s how it all works out.
Cardinals vs. Giants Week 14 Picks
Spread: Giants +2.5 / Tease: Giants +8.5
The Giants are one of the worst home teams in the NFL. The road team is 49-34-2 ATS at MetLife Stadium since the Giants moved there in 2010.
Arizona historically performs very well on the road for head coach Kliff Kingsbury. The Cardinals are 8-4-2 ATS on the road under Kingsbury. The Cardinals are in the midst of a three-game losing streak and are in desperate need of a win.
They may get it, but the Giants top-10 defense can keep it close.
NFL Week 14 Expert Picks
Colts vs. Raiders Week 14 Picks
Spread: Raiders +2.5 / Tease: Raiders +8.5
The Raiders are a home underdog to the Colts, who have won three of their last four. Las Vegas needed a last-second Hail Mary to beat the lowly Jets last week. The Raiders can’t be as bad as they have been the past two weeks. Plus, they need to stay in the playoff race.
The big thing though is the Raiders are a 2.5-point underdog. Underdogs of 1.5 to 2.5 points during the regular season cover a six-point teaser 75 percent of the time since 2003.
The Raiders offense should be able to keep this one close. They have scored 30-plus points in four of their past five games. Teasing this one to 8.5 also covers all the key numbers like 3 and 7, but also covers 8 which is significant now that more teams are going for two especially later in games.

Falcons vs. Chargers Week 14 Picks
Spread: Chargers +2.5 / Tease: +8.5
Betting on the Chargers at +2.5 is simply not a strong bet. Teasing that bet, however, makes this a worthy play. The Chargers are terrible on defense. They have given up at least 27 points in nine straight games.
The Chargers can score though. Rookie quarterback Justin Herbert is capable of leading L.A. to the end zone often. He did play more like a rookie last week when the Chargers lost 45-0, the worst loss in the franchise’s history.
Don’t expect that to happen again. The Falcons are also much improved since firing Dan Quinn as head coach. Atlanta has the type of offense that can put up points. Covering an 8.5-point spread isn’t easy. The Chargers may not win, but they can stay within 8.5 points.

Texans vs. Bears Week 14 Picks
Spread: Bears +1.5 / Tease: Bears +7.5
Chicago has lost six straight and with those losses has essentially tossed away its playoff hopes. Houston has had a disaster of a 2020 season.
Texans QB Deshaun Watson is down a number of receivers including Randall Cobb who is injured and Will Fuller V who is suspended.
Still, Watson somehow managed to keep Houston in the game last week with Indianapolis. The Texans ended up losing 26-20. He should be able to do it this week against the Bears. The Chicago offense is limited and that should allow Houston to stay in the game.
