Ben Roethlisberger – Under 280.5 Passing Yards
The Steelers offense has looked out of sync the last two weeks. The receiving corps has dropped a lot of passes, but Roethlisberger has made his share of mistakes as well. Roethlisberger is getting worse as the season goes on.
People thought the veteran quarterback had more years left in the league following 2020. This opinion has changed.
The way Roethlisberger has played recently makes me think he should call it a career. Roethlisberger lit up the Bengals secondary the last time the teams met for 333 yards. I don’t think he will be able to cause this damage once again.

The quarterback doesn’t have the arm to go deep like he used to early in his career. He is best in the short-to-intermediate passing game. He may get lucky with a few jump balls, but I like him staying under 280 on Monday night.

I believe that the Bengals will keep this game close. They aren’t a good team, but Cincinnati is hitting Pittsburgh at the perfect time.
This game could go a couple of ways. The Steelers could fix all their issues and come out on fire.
However, this hasn’t been the way they’ve performed this year. They come alive late and typically play their best football in the second half.
I think the Steelers will come out lethargic. Chances are that Pittsburgh will be taking the two seed and playing on Wild Card weekend. The players know this will be their fate.
It’s going to take halftime adjustments and a Mike Tomlin speech to light a fire in the locker room. This will make the third quarter the largest scoring period of the night.
