NFL Week 15 Underdog Picks on the Moneyline

Week 14 was another tough week for NFL underdogs. Only four underdogs were victorious led by Philadelphia which was a 7.5-point dog vs. New Orleans. The Eagles pulled the upset in rookie QB Jalen Hurts’ first start.

Coach Rick hit just one pick last week. Washington did beat San Francisco 23-15 as a 3-point underdog. Can the Football Team do it again in Week 15?

Seattle Seahawks vs. Washington Football Team Picks

It’s hard to believe, but this matchup is one of division leaders. Yes, the Football Team now sits atop the NFC East despite its 6-7 record. The Seahawks lead the ultra-competitive NFC West.

Seattle is 11-1 in its last 12 games played on the East Coast. That is significant as many bettors think traveling across time zones affects play. For NFL teams prepared by head coach Pete Carroll, that apparently has no effect.

The Football Team has won four straight mainly on the heels of an outstanding defense led by rookie DE Chase Young. The biggest question mark heading into Sunday is the status of Washington QB Alex Smith. He left last week’s game with a calf injury. He is listed as questionable and it appears he will play.

That being the case, Smith is going to need WR Terry McLaurin to step up. While McLaurin surpassed 1,000 receiving yards last week, he had just two catches for 24 yards. It was his second straight game with 25 or fewer receiving yards. He hasn’t caught a touchdown pass since Week 9.

As a home underdog, Washington has much to play for. Bettors should like that they are 4-1 ATS in their last five games. It will take a great effort, but the Football Team comes through with the upset.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Arizona Cardinals Picks

The Eagles looked like a different football team with Jalen Hurts at quarterback. Hurts threw for 167 yards and ran 18 times for 106 more in leading the Eagles to an upset of former NFC No. 1 seed New Orleans.

Now, the Eagles head to Arizona as a +210 underdog. That’s not such a bad thing. Here’s why. Under head coach Kliff Kingsbury, road underdogs playing at State Farm Stadium are 4-1 against the Cardinals. There’s something about being a home favorite that just doesn’t work for Arizona.

The funny thing for Philly head coach Doug Pederson is that he has had more success without Carson Wentz as his starting quarterback. He won a Super Bowl with Nick Foles and now Hurts is 1-0. Wentz’s overall record as the starter for the Eagles is 32-37.

That’s not all that inspiring, but Hurts is. That’s why the Eagles can pull off the upset on Sunday.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. New Orleans Saints Picks

The Chiefs took over possession of the No. 1 seed in the AFC as a result of Pittsburgh’s second loss in a row – to Buffalo last week. The Saints fell out of the No. 1 seed in the NFC as the result of their loss to Philadelphia last week.

The Saints opened as a four-point underdog at home to the Chiefs, but New Orleans is 5-1 ATS in its last six games. Plus, the Saints won nine straight before last week’s loss. With or without Drew Brees at quarterback, the Saints aren’t going to lose two straight.

Best Moneyline Pick: NEW ORLEANS +159
