We’re going to analyze the NFL week 3 point spread odds to begin the week. Every Monday, we look at the NFL line movement based on the opening lines from the week prior.
The Saints and Raiders finish out NFL week 2 tonight in Las Vegas.
With the amount of NFL injuries piling up to star players across the league, we could see a little more line movement this week, as the bookies may have to adjust once injury reports are released.

So far in week 2, favorites have gone 8-7 ATS with the MNF game pending.
Scoring wasn’t a problem for most teams in week 2 and so far, 10 of 15 games have gone over the total. Betting overs in every game during week 1 would have been profitable as well.
The public loves to bet overs, so I expect bookies to adjust and increase the NFL totals a bit.

So, what NFL point spreads have moved the most since NFL week 3 opening lines were released?
The biggest move comes from the Titans vs. Vikings game. The Vikings opened up as –1 favorites last week, but after Minny lost to the Colts in week 2, the Titans are now favored by nearly a FG.
The point spreads in the Texans vs. Steelers, 49ers vs. Giants, Jets vs. Colts, Lions vs. Cardinals and Buccaneers vs. Broncos have all seen the opening week 3 spreads move by multiple points.
What NFL Week 3 Betting Lines Stand Out?
The 49ers line has dropped several points because of injuries, but the Giants are banged up as well and the 49ers have a lot more depth on both sides of the football than the Giants.
Getting the 49ers at –3.5 is likely going to be the best price this week.

I’m a little surprised the Colts line has moved to –10.5 points. The Jets are 0-2, while the Colts are 1-1 after defeating the Vikings in week 2, but they shouldn’t be favored by double-digits.
If you were able to get on the Seahawks or Cardinals at –3, great job. Both of these lines have pushed out and are a lot riskier. The Bucs still look good at under a TD, but jump on them soon.
The Packers vs. Saints line is really surprising as well. With the way the Packers are playing, this line should be a FG at the most, so I recommend jumping on Packers +4.5 while it’s still available.
