We’re going to identify the best NFL player props picks for week 3 (Sunday games only).
The Browns already picked up a win this week on TNF against the Steelers (29-17).
All US bookies have lots of NFL player props to wager on, including anytime touchdown scorer, passing yards, receiving yards, rushing yards and even defensive player props.
Here are the top five NFL player props predictions for week 3:
Stefon Diggs Over 83.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
The Bills offense has been rolling to start the season. They’re averaging 36 PPG and a large part of the production has come from Diggs. Diggs has 20 receptions for 270 yards and 4 TDs.
Miami ranks 25th against the pass, allowing 255.5 PYPG. Diggs is going to get his fair share of targets and I expect him to want to show out against Tyreek Hill on Sunday.
Joe Mixon Over 75.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
Joe Mixon has had a slow start to the season by his standards. He has rushed 139 yards on 46 carries and he hasn’t had a rushing touchdown. However, this week the Bengals play the Jets.
The Jets are allowing 123.5 RYPG (21st), so Mixon should find some running room. He’s capable of breaking off big chunks on the ground. I expect Mixon to have a 100+ rushing yard game on Sunday.
Adam Thielen Over 49.5 Receiving Yards (-120)
Most NFL bettors will look to target Justin Jefferson on props, but his receiving prop is set at O/U 98.5, which is a bit high. If we target Thielen, he only needs to finish with 50+ receiving yards.
Thielen has had 36 receiving yards (Packers) and 52 receiving yards (Eagles). The Lions are allowing 273.5 PYPG (28th), so there’s going to be plenty of production to split among the Vikings players.
Dameon Pierce Over 60.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
Lovie Smith mentioned after week 1 that he wanted to get Pierce more touches. In week 2, Pierce had 15 carries for 69 yards in a blowout loss. If this game is closer, Piece will likely get close to 20+ carries.
The Bears have the worst rushing defense in the NFL (189.5 RYPG). Even if Rex Burkhead steals some touches, Pierce should be able to get 61+ rushing yards against the Bears defense.
Michael Thomas to Score a Touchdown (+145)
Michael Thomas has been playing great to begin the season. He had two TDs against the Falcons and he scored the Saints only touchdown against the Bucs. He has a good shot to find the endzone again.
These two teams are familiar with each due to being NFC South rivals. Thomas is the best red zone target the Saints have and he should have some opportunities to cash in on Sunday.
