Dolphins (1-4, 2-3-0 ATS) @ Jaguars (0-5, 1-4-0 ATS)

Dolphins vs. Jaguars Predictions

Spread: Dolphins -3, ML -160/+140, O/U 47

Where: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London

When: 8:30 AM ET CBS

This one comes down to who wants to play football, will it be the Dolphins, will it be the Jaguars? This one comes to you live from London so don’t expect a home field advantage. The even better news on that front, both teams are from the same time zone. There are no travel adjustments for one vs the other. If you are hoping to be impressed by either team, then we have bad news; you are setting your sights too high! The Jaguars looked awful against Tennessee, and the Dolphins looked awful against the Buccaneers. Both teams have looked bad every step of the way. Lawrence is getting better and he will shine today.

Best Bets: Jaguars +3 and Over 47

Packers (4-1, 4-1-0 ATS) @ Bears (3-2, 3-2-0 ATS)

Packers vs. Bears Predictions

Spread: Packers -6, ML -240/+200, O/U 44

Where: Soldier Field, Chicago, IL

When: 11:00 CT FOX

This game is always fun, and usually it goes to the wire. What happened to the Saints? Remember back in week one when the Packers showed up in New Orleans and got drilled to the tune of 38-3? The Packers have turned this thing around and have rattled off four straight wins, and they have won against the spread in all four games. The Bears have won two in a row which started in Detroit, and then last week in Vegas. Which Bears team will we see in this one, the 26-6 loss to the Browns, or the 20-9 win over the Raiders? The Bears get up for this one and we think it will stay close.

Best Bet: Bears +6 and Over 44

Bengals (3-2, 2-3-0 ATS) @ Lions (0-5, 3-2-0 ATS)

Bengals vs. Lions Predictions

Spread: Bengals -3.5, ML -180/+155, O/U 47

Where: Ford Field, Detroit, MI

When: 11:00 CT FOX

The Lions can’t catch a break. It seems that everything that can go wrong for this team does, but you know what, eventually their luck will turn around. This team has talent and they showed up against the Vikings last week. The Lions allow 27.6 ppg, the Chiefs allow 30+… YES, we do understand that Mahomes doesn’t play in Detroit, we get it, and the Bengals are certainly playing better on the offensive side of the ball with Burrow, Wilson, and Chase. Will it be enough on the road? Yes, Goff doesn’t have the weapons yet. Look for a close one.

Best Bets: Bengals ML -180 and Over 47

Texans (1-4, 3-2-0 ATS) @ Colts (1-4, 3-2-0 ATS)

Texans vs. Colts Predictions

Spread: Texans +10, ML +350/-450 O/U 43.5

Where: Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, IN

When: 11:00 CT CBS

This game used to be fun. This is an old rivalry matchup and these two want to beat the brakes off of each other. Both come in 1-4 on the season and are looking to bust out. The Colts have the clear advantage, which was affirmed in our minds after seeing their near miss in Baltimore. Carson Wentz was brought in to do exactly what he did in that Sunday night game. The Colts had that game in the bag and the kicker took a dump – three times! We love the Colts to build on the momentum of the Ravens game. That game was a step forward and Houston has no QB, and tons of questions.

Best Bets: Colts -10 and Under 43.5

NFL Betting Odds

Rams (4-1, 3-2-0 ATS) @ Giants (1-4, 2-3-0 ATS)

Rams vs. Giants Predictions

Spread: Rams -9.5, ML -440/+340, O/U 48.5

Where: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ

When: 11:00 CT FOX

The Giants are probably not as bad as they have looked at times, in fact, there have been times when they looked half decent. The New Orleans win was a big one, but their only one. Jones is going to mature into a great QB, and the Giants will soon be a good football team. The problem in today’s game is the Rams! The Giants are stuck playing the Rams and that’s bummy if they were hoping to win today. Why? Take a look at the Cowboys loss last week. That was ugly. Yes, that was in Dallas, not NY. Let’s be beyond generous and give the Giants 10 points at home, they still lose by 14 to the Cowboys.

Best Bets: Rams -9.5 and Over 48.5

Chiefs (2-3, 1-4-0 ATS) @ Washington (2-3, 1-4-0 ATS)

Chiefs vs. WFT Predictions

Spread: Chiefs -7, ML -300/+240, O/U 54

Where: FedEx Field, Landover, MD

When: 11:00 CT CBS

We called the Chiefs’ loss last week in Arrowhead. Today, they head to Washington to face a club that has seen their share of struggles out of the gate. The Chiefs lost to Buffalo at home and now hit the road to a less talented team, will they cover the seven-point that Vegas says they should? Washington’s defense is slightly better than the Chiefs, both on the ground and in the air. The easy way out here is to pick Mahomes while saying he won’t lose two in a row. This may end up as fact, but we think this game is closer than 7 points.

Best Bets: Washington +7 and Under 54

Vikings (2-3, 2-3-0 ATS) @ Panthers (3-1, 3-1-0 ATS)

Vikings vs. Panthers Predictions

Spread: Vikings +2.5, ML -140/+120, O/U 45.5

Where: Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, NC

When: 11:00 CT FOX

Both teams are dealing with injuries, so we won’t let that factor cloud our judgment either way. Cousins is playing great football and Darnold is struggling to find his groove in Carolina. The Vikings bring a slightly better offense, but nowhere near the kind of defense the Panthers have been showing off. Yes, Cousins is playing better, however, Darnold has the same ability and we think he will find that groove sooner or later. The Vikings got away with one last week against the Lions, and the Panthers let Philly off the hook.

Best Bets: Panthers +3 (buying the hook) and Under 45.5

Chargers (4-1, 4-1-0 ATS) @ Ravens (4-1, 2-3-0 ATS)

Chargers vs. Ravens Predictions

Spread: Chargers +2.5, ML +120/+140, O/U 51

Where: M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, MD

When: 11:00 CT CBS

There are two fantastic games at the top of our “can’t miss radar”, the Cardinals @ Browns, and this game between the Chargers and the Ravens. The Ravens were beaten last Sunday night, dead to rights. They were slow, sluggish, lethargic, and didn’t show up in the first half on any level. To boot, they came out in the second half and immediately gave up a TD. The won the game on the leg of the Colts kicker, period. We must give them credit for picking up the pace and rebounding. They brought the game back to reality and forced the Colts to win on a kick, didn’t happen. The Chargers are playing inspired football and this one is worth all the marbles.

Best Bets: Chargers +2.5 and Over 51

NFL Predictions

Cardinals (5-0, 4-1-0 ATS) @ Browns (3-2, 3-2-0 ATS)

Cardinals vs. Browns Predictions

Spread: Cardinals +3.5, ML +145/-170, O/U 49.5

Where: FirstEnergy Stadium, Cleveland, OH

When: 2:05 CT FOX

The Cardinals are playing awfully good football to come into this game as a 3.5-point dog. It seems to us that Vegas is cherry picking one number, and that would be the production on the ground. Nobody will question Chubb and what kind of year he’s putting together. He’s on fire and that makes Baker’s job all the easier. Murray is putting up better numbers, but will it matter against a team that pounds the rock for 187 yards per game? It might not… for this reason we look at the defense. The numbers certainly favor the Browns with 75 rushing yards allowed to the Cardinals 139. Chubb is going to get his. This game is a MUST watch. It’s going to be fun and close.

Best Bets: Cardinals +3.5 and Over 49.5

Raiders (3-2, 2-3-0 ATS) @ Broncos (3-2, 3-2-0 ATS)

Raiders vs. Broncos Predictions

Spread: Raiders +4, ML -170/+200, O/U 44

Where: Empower Field at Mile High, Denver, CO

When: 2:25 CT CBS

The Raiders are hurting as a franchise and fresh off the heels of very bad press this past week. They are also fresh off of a home loss to the Bears, and it was ugly. Losing a head coach is not easy, losing a Gruden caliber coach is even worse. The Broncos don’t look much better after two straight losses coming by way of Baltimore and Pittsburgh. They looked like champions to open the first three games with wins against the Giants, Jaguars, and Jets. The Broncos defense is still elite and only allowing 15.2 points per game. If the Broncos can’t win this one in Mile High against a team that’s reeling, then the rest of the way is going to be ugly.

Best Bets: Broncos -4 and Under 44

Cowboys (4-1, 5-0-0 ATS) @ Patriots (2-3, 2-3-0 ATS)

Cowboys vs. Patriots Predictions

Spread: Cowboys -3, ML -175/+150, O/U 50.5

Where: Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, MA

When: 2:25 CT CBS

The Dallas Cowboys saddle up and ride to New England for a visit with some ‘yanks’ called the Patriots. The Cowboys are a very good football team and they have a dialed in offense that is on a franchise, record-setting pace. As good as the 1990s’ Cowboys were with Aikman, Smith, and Irvin, this offense is better! The Patriots are playing solid defense but lousy offense. If the Pats sleep in, this one gets ugly, but we like the Cowboys going away.

Best Bets: Cowboys -3 and Under 50.5

Seahawks (2-3, 2-3-0 ATS) @ Steelers (2-3, 2-3-0 ATS)

Seahawks vs. Steelers Predictions

Spread: Seahawks +5, ML +190/-230, O/U 42.5

Where: Heinz Field, Pittsburgh, PA

When: 6:20 CT NBC

Last week, we took the Steelers to win a “pick em” against the Broncos at Heinz Field. We said that we couldn’t for the life of us figure out how the Steelers were a “pick em” at home. Yes, “Big Ben” is having some issues, however, he is still Super Bowl winning “Big Ben” and he’s a great football player that has very often carried the team on his back, in spite of terrible coaching from Tomlin. He finds ways to win, even when Tomlin finds ways to sink the ship. The Seahawks are hurting and without Wilson, we see no path.

Best Bets: Steelers -5 and Under 42.5

There is your week six, sides and totals. We hope you win a lot of money, but to do so, you must position yourself correctly with an online bookmaker that knows the NFL and one that offers the best lines and odds. Make sure your bookie is competitive with the “big boys”, and make sure you have a bookmaker that has a reputation for quick payouts. It’s fun to play the NFL, but it’s much more fun when you win and get paid. Good luck.
