NFL Week 6 Teaser Picks – Best Games to Tease

Coach Rick was looking good on Sunday after Carolina whooped up on Atlanta and Houston won its first game of the season against Jacksonville. Teasing Buffalo to -2.5 turned to be not so good as the Titans surprised the NFL with a beatdown of the Bills.

The 2-1 record was close and if you happened to bet Carolina and Houston in a two-team teaser, you were a winner. Let’s try to win in Week 6.

Cincinnati Bengals at Indianapolis Colts Picks

Spread: Colts -8 / Teaser: Colts -2

Despite giving up 32 points in a loss to Cleveland last week, this Indianapolis defense is arguably one of the best in the league. Only Tennessee gives up fewer pass yards and the Colts lead the NFL with nine interceptions.

The Colts defense will go up against Cincy rookie QB Joe Burrow, who has had his share of ups and downs. Burrow leads the league in fumbles (5) and he’s been sacked 22 times already. The Bengals struggle to stop the run allowing 5.2 yards per carry. That’s not good because Indy has one of the best offensive lines in the NFL and runs the ball extremely well.

Now, the Bengals are 0-13-1 straight up in their last 14 road games; but they are 10-5 ATS in their last 15 on the road. Teasing that spread down to -2…there’s no way the Bengals stay within a field goal of the Colts.

Baltimore Ravens at Philadelphia Eagles Picks

Spread: Ravens -8 / Teaser: Ravens -2

The Eagles finally put together an impressive performance only to be outdone by Pittsburgh last week. Two key Carson Wentz interceptions ultimately led to the Steelers 38-31 win in Week 5.

Now, Philly welcomes 4-1 Baltimore to Lincoln Financial Field. The Ravens are 8-0 in their last eight road games and they are an impressive 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 games. That includes a 3-1-1 ATS mark this season.

The Eagles secondary is awful and it could be without CB Darius Slay on Sunday. Philly will have to run the football to keep reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson off the field. That’s easier said than done since the Ravens have the seventh-best run defense in the league.

Ultimately, teasing this spread to -2 makes this a no-brainer. Baltimore has won each of its four games by at least 14 points.

Detroit Lions at Jacksonville Jaguars Picks

Spread: Jaguars +3.5 / Teaser: Jaguars +9.5

Don’t expect a lot of defense in this one. The Jags give up nearly 30 points a game and Detroit allows 31. Detroit did have the luxury of a bye week last week and comes in as healthy as it has been in a while.

In its previous home game where they were an underdog, Jacksonville won outright, 27-20, over Indianapolis. Teasing the spread to +9.5 against a Lions team that is 1-7 straight up in its last eight road games makes complete sense.

Add in the fact that Detroit is just 3-12 ATS in their last 15 games. Take the Jags at home with the tease at +9.5.

You should also consider betting these three teams on an NFL sweetheart teaser for week 6.
