The seventh week of the NFL season began with a competitive matchup between the Browns and Broncos. Cleveland was able to cover the spread in their three-point victory. The safe way to win bets is through teasers.
Teasers allow you to adjust the spread in your favor. Here are my best six and ten-point teasers for week seven.
NFL Six-Point Teaser Picks for Week 7
Best Bet: Ravens -6.5 to -0.5
The Ravens are one of the hottest teams in the NFL following their victory over Los Angeles last week. The team is now 5-1, and multiple areas of the team are firing on all cylinders. Lamar Jackson has been terrific through six weeks.
Additionally, the defense was perfect against Justin Herbert and the Chargers. The tease in this game just makes the Ravens have to prevail. I like these odds on Sunday.
Panthers vs. Giants Prediction
Best Bet: Panthers -3 to +3
The Giants are not a good football team. They will host the Panthers this week, who have been reputable in 2021. Carolina will be without Christian McCaffrey on Sunday. Although, this has been the case for the majority of the season.
If Sam Darnold can show up in New York, Carolina blows out the Giants.
Best Bet: Packers -7.5 to -1.5
Aaron Rodgers owns Chicago, as he clearly stated last week. The quarterback will also own Washington on Sunday. The Packers are 5-1, and they have covered in their past five games.
With the tease, this bet is a lock. Green Bay is hot, and they will not lose to Washington on Sunday. Washington’s ruthless defense has been lackluster in 2021.
This game may be tight early, but things should improve down the stretch. Green Bay will easily cover at home.
NFL Ten-Point Teaser Picks for Week 7
Best Bet: Chiefs -4.5 to +6.5
I would possibly wait to see if this line drops to +4. However, with the tease, you can still get the Chiefs for +6.5. Tennessee had a big win over the Bills in week six, and Kansas City has struggled. Nevertheless, with the tease, they do not have to win this game.
Patrick Mahomes came alive in the second half against Washington in week six. If he brings this energy, the Chiefs will not need the tease to cover the spread.
The key for Kansas City will be to eliminate Derrick Henry from the equation.
Best Bet: Patriots -7 to +3
If there is a lock of the week for a spread bet, it’s the Jets and Patriots. This will be the second meeting of the season between the two teams. New England blew out New York in the first game of the year.
Mac Jones and the Patriots will not need the tease to cover on Sunday. They should blow out the Jets.
Bears vs. Buccaneers Prediction
Best Bet: Bears +12.5 to +22.5
The Bears will not lose by over three scores to the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay has been bad against the spread in 2021. This will open the door for the Bears to cover because of their strong defense.
Justin Fields will need to be average to cover, and he should have success against the Buccaneers’ defense.
