Are you looking for the best NHL player props for today’s games? Look no further! I have trawled the bookies’ odds to track down the top NHL picks for Tuesday, March 28th. Feel free to take advantage of my selections.
Elias Pettersson – Over 1.5 Points (+160)
Not only have the Vancouver Canucks won each of their last three games, but they have also won 10 of their previous 12. Next up, the Canucks face the St. Louis Blues at the Enterprise Center, hoping to secure back-to-back victories over Craig Berube’s team.
Elias Pettersson has played a pivotal role in Vancouver’s recent upturn, racking up 14 points across his past 10 appearances. Having notched 2+ points in three of his previous seven outings, Pettersson will be confident of scoring over 1.5 points against St. Louis.
Jason Robertson – Over 3.5 Shots on Goal (-130)
Stars vs. Blackhawks Prediction
Only 10 players have chalked up more shots on goal than Jason Robertson this season, while only eight players have scored more points. The Dallas Stars winger has amassed 280 shots on goal in 2022-23, bagging 91 points along the way.
After recording nine SOG in a single game against the Buffalo Sabres earlier this month, Robertson registered five against the Calgary Flames before adding four to his tally against the Seattle Kraken last week. That’s why I’m backing him to notch over 3.5 SOG against the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday.
Kevin Fiala – Over 0.5 Points (-165)
In addition to scoring six points across the past four games, Kevin Fiala has racked up nine points in his previous nine appearances. Following a two-point haul against the Blues last time out, Fiala now averages 1.04 points per game this season.
Thanks largely to Fiala’s exploits, the Los Angeles Kings have won five of their last six outings, with 10 victories coming in their previous 12. The Kings face the inconsistent Calgary Flames on Tuesday, so I’m backing Fiala to enhance his points tally at Scotiabank Saddledome.
Jack Eichel – Over 0.5 Assists (+145)
Oilers vs. Golden Knights Prediction
Jack Eichel has registered three assists in his last two outings, notching one against Calgary before bagging two against the Edmonton Oilers. Funnily enough, Eichel and the Vegas Golden Knights face the Oilers again on Tuesday, three days after Vegas claimed a 4-3 victory at Rogers Place.
The Golden Knights now find themselves at the summit of the Pacific Division, leaving the Oilers in third place. Since Eichel recorded two assists against Edmonton last time out, odds of +145 for him to register over 0.5 assists are too tasty to ignore.
Kyle Connor – Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-165)
The San Jose Sharks find themselves rock bottom of the Pacific Division following nine straight defeats. When you look at the bigger picture, the Sharks have lost 13 of their previous 14 games, winning just 19 of their 73 outings this season.
On Tuesday, the Sharks face the Winnipeg Jets, who occupy fourth place in the Central Division after picking up three wins across their past five games. Winnipeg’s Kyle Connor averages 3.39 SOG per game in 2022-23, so he shouldn’t struggle to record over 2.5 SOG against lowly San Jose.
