The Tampa Bay Lightning stayed alive in the Stanley Cup Finals with a tough 3-2 win in Game 5 at Colorado. Now, they get to return home to see if they can force a deciding Game 7.
The Lightning are 8-2 at home this postseason and they are allowing just 2.10 goals per game at Amalie Arena. Goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy has a 1.82 goals against average at home and he hit his saves prop in Game 5. Can he do it again?

Here are the best NHL Stanley Cup player props picks for Game 6.
Nathan MacKinnon – OVER 4.5 Shots (-145)
It’s about as sure a thing as the sun coming up each day. MacKinnon has hit this prop seven times in his last eight games. He still has just one goal in the series, but he is a shot machine.
In the two previous games at Tampa Bay, MacKinnon had six and eight shots. He now has 110 shots for the postseason for an average of 5.79 per game. No one is even close to MacKinnon (second place in 75 shots).
The Lightning may tighten up the defense, but MacKinnon will still get his shots.
Ondrej Palat – OVER 0.5 Points (-140)
Palat has gone Over this prop in 12 of his last 14 and 15 of his last 21 games. He is Tampa Bay’s leading goal scorer in the postseason with 11. He is second in points with 20 just behind Nikita Kucherov’s 27.
It was Palat’s goal at 13:38 of the third period that proved to be the game-winner in Game 5.
Andrei Vasilevskiy – UNDER 33.5 Saves (+105)
Vasilevskiy stopped 35 of 37 shots in Game 5 to help give Tampa Bay the victory. The Avalanche are averaging over 36 shots per game.
The Lightning defense will tighten up as it always does at home. The only game in the series that didn’t go Over this prop was Game 2. That’s the one where Vasilevskiy gave up seven goals.
Don’t expect that to happen again, but facing elimination don’t be surprised when the Avs don’t get off as many shots as in the previous three games.
Cale Makar – OVER 3.5 Shots (+105)
Makar leads the Avs with 29 points. Good things happen when you take shots and Makar takes his fair share.
He has hit this prop in his last four straight games. He’s also hit it in his last five games on the road totaling 5, 5, 4, 4, and 4 shots.
With the Stanley Cup hanging in the balance, Makar will hit this prop again. He leads all players in the series in ice time and he’s averaging over 27 minutes of play per game in the postseason.
