The annual PGA Championship is already underway at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky. Today’s first group – Michael Block, Luke Donald, and Shaun Micheel – teed off at 7:15 a.m. ET. Last year’s winner, Brooks Koepka, teed off earlier this morning. He is not the overall favorite to win the PGA Championship again in 2024.
That honor belongs to world No. 1-ranked golfer Scottie Scheffler. Scheffler won the Masters in April and looks to improve upon his second-place performance last year at the PGA Championship. Scheffler wound up tied with Viktor Hovland last year, two strokes behind Koepka. Scheffler is a +300 favorite to win the 2024 PGA Championship.
Koepka is an interesting one. He’s only ranked 39th in the world right now, but he is among the top favorites to capture another PGA Championship. Koepka has won the event three times already in his career. In addition to last year’s victory, Koepka won the PGA Championship two years in a row in 2018 and 2019. This year, he’s among the top five favorites with odds of +1000 to win.
The last time the PGA Championship took place at Valhalla Golf Club was in 2014. The winner was Rory McIlroy, who is the world’s No. 2-ranked golfer behind Scheffler. He’s also second on the 2024 PGA Championship betting board at +600 odds. McIlroy’s last golf major win was that 2014 PGA Championship. He’s won the event twice along with a U.S. Open title in 2011 and The Open Championship in 2014.

- Get dirty: Dirty Dyer went 8-2 on his 10 picks yesterday and cleared $580. It was an especially strong baseball day for our friend from Handicappers Hideaway. Dirty went 7-1 on his MLB picks and he’s now fifth on the 30-day leaderboard. Over the last month, he has hit over 57 percent of his picks and is up $1870.
- King James: James Anderson is no stranger to our daily Top 5. Yesterday, he hit all four of his picks, including spread picks on both NBA games. For his efforts, James took home $400 in profits.
- Boss Ross: Ross Walker also had a strong baseball day. He put three picks in the system yesterday, all MLB picks, and went a perfect 3-0. He added $300 to his bankroll and is now up $621 for the week. He’s already got one MLB pick in the database already. Could it be a run line odds pick? You’ll have to see for yourself.
- Bill has skill: Bill Blatt has some serious handicapping skills. He showed as much yesterday by hitting 4 of his 5 picks to win $322. His efforts yesterday give him $392 in winnings over the last three days and $723 for the week.
- Heaven for Evan: Evan Lewis rounded out our Top 5 with a perfect 3-0 performance yesterday. Evan is a software developer who has taken his two passions – software and sports betting – and molded them together. The results are more wins at the ticket window. He got three of them yesterday and profited $303. That puts him up $532 over the last seven days.

There is a lot more than just golf on today’s schedule. Let’s take a look.
- Game 6: Denver is at Minnesota tonight with an opportunity to end the series and advance to a second straight Western Conference finals. Game time is 8:30 p.m. Minnesota is a -2.5-point favorite.
- NHL playoffs: There are two NHL playoff games tonight. The New York Rangers, who opened their series with Carolina with three straight wins, have now lost the last two games. The Rangers could end the series tonight with a win on the road. Carolina is a -165 favorite. Edmonton plays in Vancouver tonight in the other game. That series is tied at 2-2.
- Light day in MLB: There are only six MLB games today. The Phillies will try and continue their incredible run. They’ve won 12 of their last 14 and will face the Mets again today. Taijuan Walker (3-0, 4.82) gets the start for Philadelphia. Tampa Bay and Boston meet in an AL East clash. The Red Sox are a slim -110 favorite.
- PGA championship: It got underway early this morning and will continue through the final round on Sunday. The last group tees off at 3:07 p.m. today.

- Soccer: Three LaLiga matches highlight the day’s soccer action. A number of lower tier leagues are playing today. Check our sites for our top soccer picks.
- Tennis: The Internazionali BNL d’Italia will finish up this weekend. Today, there are two men’s quarterfinals and the women’s semifinals are already underway. Top seed Iga Swiatek has just started against No. 3 Coco Gauff. No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka takes on No. 13 Danielle Collins later today.
- WNBA: There is just one game on the WNBA schedule tonight, but even if there were more games on the schedule, this one would be the most-watched. That’s because Caitlin Clark will play her first home game as the Indiana Fever host the New York Liberty. Clark and the Fever got drilled by Connecticut in their season opener on Tuesday. New York is favored by 7.5 points.
