The first few games of the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs have come and gone. The Jets, Hurricanes, and Leafs are going above and beyond, and NHL handicappers at ScoresandStats are capitalizing on their good fortune.

Top NHL Handicappers Last Week
The top five handicappers last week went 26-4, for an 86.7% win rate overall. Collectively, they brought home $2,175 in profit. The win rate is an improvement over the previous week, but they still fell shy of the profit mark.
Mike Hawk and David MacGyver are no strangers to the leaderboard, and Kyle Parker and Steve Janus have popped up once or twice this season as well. Mario Deluca was one of the first featured handicappers back when the season started, so it’s good to see him back on the board.
Mike Hawk Picks Up the Lead
Mike Hawk went 9-2 last week, bringing in almost $500 in profit. He managed to come out on top with a selection of moneylines and totals. He also had two spread wagers that canceled each other out money-wise.

He bet on the Maple Leafs over the Senators in their Sunday match, betting a Moneyline, Spread, and Totals wager. He won all three wagers, as the Leafs ended the first match of round one, beating the Senators 2-6.
However, in game two, yesterday, Hawk wagered the same Totals wager as before, but failed to cover this one. His 5.5 wager missed, as the game ended 2-3. The Senators still lost, but their defense showed more promise.
The Leafs and Senators still have a few more games this week, so we’ll see if Hawk can turn the bus around and make some more money on them.
Where Our Money’s at This Week
We’re still in round one of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, so we’ve got a few more games of the starting matchups to work through this week. The Leafs, Jets, and Hurricanes are all 2-0 right now, so those games are worth watching. Can the underdogs pull out at least one win?
So far, a few of our handicappers have gotten their picks in for the Dallas Stars and Colorado Avalanche game tonight.
It seems that they’re leaning toward the Stars moneyline, which is hopeful but fair. In game one, the Avalanche beat the Stars 5-1, and in game two, 4-3. This might be the time for a Stars comeback, or at least a solid fight.
