Top Five NFL Player Props Picks for Thursday Night Football Week 11

Thursday Night Football kicks off the NFL betting slate for the week. There is nothing like winning on Thursday heading into the weekend. However, it’s tough to bet on traditional markets because anything can happen.

This is why it can be valuable to bet on players instead of traditional lines to win big. Here are my top five player props for Thursday’s game in Atlanta between the Patriots and Falcons.

Mac Jones Props Picks: Under 254.5 Passing Yards (-115)

Mac Jones has established himself as a legitimate threat in the Rookie of the Year race. He is currently second to Ja’Marr Chase of the Bengals. Jones is coming off a terrific performance where he threw three touchdowns.

However, Jones does not usually throw for a lot of yards. Last week against the Browns, he threw for 198 yards. He is averaging 233 yards per game in 2021. The Falcons have an atrocious passing defense, but New England wants to run the football.

Jones will be asked to throw the ball downfield, but it will not be enough to surpass the total.

Rhamondre Stevenson Props Picks: Anytime TD Scorer (-115)

Rhamondre Stevenson has been in the dog house throughout the 2021 season. Bill Belichick punishes people who fumble the football. This was Stevenson’s problem early in the season.

However, Stevenson is back on the field and no longer a healthy scratch. He received 20 carries last week and scored two touchdowns. Damien Harris will likely play, but he is expected to be in a secondary role.

Matt Ryan Props Picks: Under 250.5 Passing Yards (-115)

I expect the Patriots defense to come out on fire in this football game. The passing defense has been better than expected. They will play against Matt Ryan, who is way past his prime. Additionally, the Patriots are only giving up 236 passing yards per game.

I would not put Matt Ryan at the top of the list to dominate New England’s defense. Cordarrelle Patterson may play in this game, but it’s unlikely. This will allow Bill Belichick to key on the quarterback.

Matt Ryan will barely break 200 yards on Thursday against a New England unit that’s rolling.

NFL Picks Tonight

Kyle Pitts Props Picks: Over 23.5 Yards Longest Reception (-115)

The Atlanta Falcons love to stretch the field with Kyle Pitts. This is the team’s only chance to prevail on Sunday. They will not have Calvin Ridley in the lineup, and Patterson is questionable. This leaves Pitts as the lone player to defend.

Even though the Patriots will key on Pitts, he will still make plays. His over the total for the longest reception is my pick because he can make tough catches. He has three 39 yard catches in his past five games.

Mac Jones Props Picks: Under 4.5 Rushing Yards (-125)

It’s tempting to bet on Mac Jones rushing yards total to go over, but I will not. The quarterback wants to sit in the pocket. Additionally, he will not have many scramble opportunities because New England’s offensive line has been sensational.

This will keep Jones way under his 4.5-yard total. He did not run once last week.
