Top Five NFL Player Props Picks for Thursday Night Football Week 4

Thursday Night Football may not be much of a competition this week. The Bengals are set to host the Jaguars. Cincinnati is favored in a primetime game for the first time in years. Read our full Jaguars vs. Bengals betting preview.

Where to Bet on the NFL

The Bengals should roll the Jaguars, but this does not mean there is no betting value in this game. Here are the top five NFL player props for Thursday Night Football.

Trevor Lawrence: Over 1.5 Interceptions (+120)

This prop may be a risky bet, but history tends to repeat itself. Trevor Lawrence has been the king of interceptions in the NFL. Lawrence is talented so this will eventually slow, but there have been no signs of this occurring.

Lawrence is averaging over two interceptions per game and he has been under duress in 2021. The Jaguars are allowing him to make mistakes as well. This favors him turning the ball over multiple times.

For the Jaguars to compete, they are going to have to throw the ball downfield. Will Lawrence rise to the occasion? I think he throws another two picks.

NFL Odds Tonight

Joe Burrow: Over 0.5 Interceptions (+150)

The value of this prop is too good. The Jaguars’ secondary is not the best in football, but the Bengals rely on Burrow. Look for Burrow to throw the ball downfield and make a mistake. +150 odds for Burrow to throw one interception.

In his past two games, he has had four interceptions. These have been against the Bears and Steelers, but the value is too good to pass up against Jacksonville.

Joe Mixon: Over 87.5 Yards Rushing (-115)

Joe Mixon could be the star of the game on Thursday night. The Bengals open up their passing game by pounding the rock. The Jaguars are better against the run than the pass.

However, I see Mixon having a big night carrying the football. Mixon has rushed for 127, 69, 90, in his three games this season. The main thing to look at with this prop is his carries per game.

Mixon is going to touch the football, which is critical for exceeding his total. He is averaging over 22 carries, and he was given 18 against a talented Steelers defense. The more ground success, the more carries Mixon will receive.

I expect Mixon to hit 88 yards with ease on Thursday night.

NFL Predictions Tonight

Trevor Lawrence: Over 15.5 Rushing Yards

Trevor Lawrence has designed runs in the playbook. However, he has also been forced to scramble multiple times this year. In the first game, he had negative rushing yards.

Since this point, he has learned to use his legs to escape the pressure. The sacks are a concern with this prop, but Lawrence is doing a good job getting rid of the ball. In his past two games, he rushed for 21 and 27 yards, respectively.

Evan McPherson: Under 7.5 Points

Bengals kicker Evan McPherson exceeded this total against the Vikings in week one. Yet, Cincinnati does not kick many field goals. This should cause the total to stay under 7.5 points. I think Cincinnati will be scoring more touchdowns on Thursday night.

I like the under of 7.5 after two straight games hitting this prop.
