Last Thursday’s game was underwhelming for sports bettors. It was an exciting game to watch, but the pregame hype was not massive. The Jaguars and Bengals do not have the same allure as the Rams and Seahawks.
The Seahawks and Rams are both in good shape after four weeks. This is a critical matchup with early-season playoff implications. This makes it an excellent game for betting. Here are my top five player props for Thursday Night Football’s Rams vs. Seahawks week 5 match-up.

Matt Stafford Props Picks: Over 301.5 Passing Yards (-115)
Matt Stafford is the best part of the Los Angeles Rams. He has completely changed the identity of the team under center. After a loss last week, I expect Stafford to bounce back with a vengeance.
He has thrown for over 301.5 yards in two of four games this season. In the games he has gone over, he has blown away this total. Additionally, he has thrown the ball an average of 40 times per game in the past two games. This gives me confidence they will have the same confidence against Seattle.
The Seahawks are allowing 310.8 yards per game through the air, which is atrocious.
Cooper Kupp Props Picks: Over 84.5 Passing Yards (-115)
Cooper Kupp decided to become the best receiver in football this season. Through four games, he has 30 receptions for 431 yards. The athlete defines explosive plays, which we should see against Seattle’s weak secondary.
He averages 14.4 yards per catch, and I expect him to have a big night on Thursday. He has surpassed this total in three of four games this season.
Cooper Kupp Props Picks: Anytime TD Scorer (-130)
Cooper Kupp will find the endzone on Thursday for the Rams to be in the football game. Kupp is having a terrific year in terms of yardage, but he has also been dominant in finding the endzone.
Kupp has five touchdowns in four games. He has two multi-touchdown games as well. The receiver did not score last week, and the team lost. Kupp’s success is a direct translation to the success of the team.
Matt Gay Props Picks: Over 2.5 PAT (-160)
Kicker props are a great way to handicap sportsbooks. Not a lot of people bet on kickers, but this wager is very safe. Matt Gay, the kicker for the Rams, will make over 2.5 PAT. This means the Rams have to score three touchdowns.
Los Angeles is averaging four touchdowns per game, so this is a safe bet. It’s a great wager to include in the same game parlay as well. Gay has not missed an extra point this season with a 13 for 13 record.
He is also 8 of 9 on field goals, proving his reliability.
Russell Wilson Props Picks: Under 24.5 Completions (-120)
Russell Wilson does not throw the ball 100 times per game. This is not a strategy for the Seahawks. They try to get up quickly and then run the ball. Wilson has not gone over this total once for completions.
I think he will stay under again. This is based on how Seattle likes to play football. They try to take chunk plays and do not dink and dump down the field.
Good luck betting on Thursday Night Football!
