Tuesday Bowl Game Action | Bet the Overs

There are two great bowl games for your viewing pleasure today. They are both competitive and offer 3-ranked teams. Oklahoma State is taking on Miami in the early matchup and then for the nightcap will be Texas taking on Colorado. All four teams play great football, they are well- coached, and they deserve to be right where they are.

There is one minor exception and that would be Colorado. We didn’t see them play enough. They come in unranked with a 2-1 record. They are in for the simple fact they have enough games to qualify. They are legitimate, we are not saying they don’t belong, we are saying they are a bit unknown in bowl games and lacking in overall record.

Kick back, have some fun on a quiet Tuesday after Christmas, and find the online bookmaker. Get in for both of these games and take advantage of the many game and player props that are available. There are umpteen multiple ways to bet these games. Take full advantage of the opportunity. In our humble opinion, having two games is better than a board full of games. With fewer games, you have the opportunity to focus more and not be all over the place. Be sure to look for live and dynamic lines as well.

(#21) Oklahoma State Vs. (#18) Miami Picks

Camping World Stadium, Orlando Florida

Kickoff: 5:30 PM ET

TV: ESPN

Pick: Over 61

Miami will throw all day while OK State will run all day. These two come stacked with a better than average offense and while the Cowboys only allow 22.4 points per game, we think the tempo in this one will be set early by a Miami team that can do it all and run with most teams in the nation. Granted, neither team is Clemson or Alabama, but neither team has to play Clemson or Alabama! These two are close in numbers across the board and this game could be a barn burning-go in the 80’s final score. 61 points – simply too low for this game.

The bookmakers are counting on the defense for Oklahoma State to show up in a big way and we don’t see it. Miami has too many weapons and it all starts with King under center and ends with Harris on the ground.

Sanders (QB OK State) is a liability, and he throws a lot of picks and makes mistakes. Look for Miami to capitalize. We see a fun game here. This will not be boring, and you will have plenty of betting options. We are taking over 61.

(#20) Texas Vs. Colorado Picks

Alamodome, San Antonio Texas

Kickoff: 9:00 PM ET

TV: ESPN

Pick: Over 63.5

Talk about giving points up and scoring a pile… these two are kings on both sides of the ball. Texas gives up 29.1 points per game, while Colorado gives up 27.0. The Longhorns are giving up a lot, but they score a lot… to the tune of 41.3 points per game. Colorado puts it up as well with 29.6 points per game.

This game will be fun, lose, and both teams will let the offense all hang out. Have fun with these two games and be sure to find a great second-half line and even a quarter bet or two. Happy New Year!
