Head coach Mike Budenholzer is frustrated with the team’s inability to close out games and generate consistent defensive stops.

“We’ve got to find ways to get wins,” Budenholzer said.

Phoenix is hoping Bradley Beal’s return to the starting lineup can help provide the missing spark.

Bradley Beal’s Impact on the Suns’ Offense

Beal was benched on Jan. 6 but was reinserted into the starting lineup on Saturday against Chicago. The result? A 25-point performance and a clutch three-pointer late in the game, helping Phoenix secure a 121-117 win.

Beal followed that up with 30 points in 41 minutes in Sunday’s loss to Toronto, showing that he is still capable of leading the Suns offensively.

“If we can get the right rhythm and find the right opportunities offensively and have all three of those guys (Beal, Kevin Durant, Devin Booker) be aggressive, I think that’s when we can be at our best,” Budenholzer said.

Phoenix is 7-3 this season when Beal, Booker, and Durant all play together, suggesting that when healthy, this trio has the potential to turn things around.

Kevin Durant: Suns Must Improve Defensively

While Beal’s offensive contributions have been a bright spot, Durant believes the Suns’ struggles start on defense.

Ja Morant Looking More Like Himself
