I bet you didn’t think you’d ever see the day where you could bet on Beetlejuice 2, did you? There was probably a time you could bet on if the Beetlejuice sequel would ever happen, but actually fathoming Beetlejuice prop bets surely alluded you.

That isn’t something I can say, of course, because I write about stuff like this for a living. I also love to bet on it, because there is an insane edge when it comes to entertainment betting markets.

Put simply, nobody knows what will happen in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, and that includes the online betting sites that offer props for it. I’ll help point you in the right direction with my Beetlejuice 2 predictions, and you can choose which bets you like the most.

What is the Beetlejuice 2 Release Date?

The time to bet on what will happen in Beetlejuice 2 is now. The movie first arrived in theaters way back in 1988, and played a big hand in making stars out of Michael Keaton, Wynona Ryder, and others.

Those two are back for more devilishly delightful fun in Beetlejuice 2, which officially premiers on September 6th, 2004.

Tim Burton is back to his wacky antics and fans surely have a story that was worth the wait. Was it a sequel anyone actually needed or asked for? Nope! But it’s still going to provide some entertainment to kick off September, and maybe you can make some extra cash at the same time.

Who is in the Beetlejuice 2 Cast?

So, which stars will actually be in Beetlejuice 2? The main stars are returning, with Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder being the biggest names that also were featured in the first one.

But if you’re looking for a full cast for the Beetlejuice sequel, here are the biggest names – new and old.

There’s more to the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice cast, but these are far and away the most important actors that will appear on screen in the much-awaited sequel.

Obviously everyone knows Keaton and Ryder, but you may have forgotten that the hilarious O’Hara was also in the original. She made scene stealing her life in Schitts Creek, and she promises to be a ton of fun in Beetlejuice 2 as well.

This is a terrific cast from top to bottom, with an-in-his-prime Justin Theroux and a seasoned Willem Dafoe adding some zest. There’s even Jenna Ortega, who has made waves as a rising star thanks to similar dark work in Netflix’s Wednesday.

The Beetlejuice Beetlejuice cast is rather sublime, although I can’t help but wonder if other big names from the original such as Alec Baldwin or Geena Davis might show up, too.

BeetleJuice 2 Rumors

The biggest Beetlejuice Beetlejuice rumors originally had to do with the cast. Big names like Monica Belluci and Willem Dafoe were rumored to be part of the new cast, but we know that’s cemented by now.

Of course, just like it was with Deadpool & Wolverine, there is gossip over other actors who could show up, or if other original characters could make an appearance.

Some of the Beetlejuice 2 rumors include:

• The film may abandon the original’s ending
• Jeffrey Jones could appear
• The sequel could tease a third installment

So far, most of the Beetlejuice rumors have either come to light, or were squashed. That said, some have lived up to or surpassed the hype.

For instance, we knew there was going to be a janitor cameo, and that’s been revealed to be the always funny DeVito. Maybe we get more cameos, or some of the above Beetlejuice rumors turn into fact when the sequel hits theaters in September.

This is going to be a fun sequel, but it’s only going to be better if I can nail some Beetlejuice 2 predictions. Read on to see how to bet before Beetlejuice Beetlejuice arrives in theaters.

How Much Money Will Beetlejuice 2 Make in its Opening Weekend?

• Over 100.5 Million -300
• Under 100.5 Million +300

Beetlejuice didn’t make a ton of money because it came out in 1988, but its sequel could rake in the cash. That’s if recent sequels are any indication of its potential, anyways.

Avengers: Endgame is still the top film ever when it comes to huge opening weekends at the box office. The last Avengers flick made a whopping $357 million when it first came out, and went on to make almost $860 million, overall

Why does this matter? Because it was a sequel of sorts. In fact, of the top 10 opening weekends ever, six of the films weren’t the original movie in the franchise.

If you stretch it out to the top 20, another nine movies qualify as sequels and made major bank.

The one cause for pause? Just 76 movies have eclipsed the $100 million mark, all-time. Of course, inflation is a heck of a thing, as every single move that has hit this plateau was made in 2002 or later.

Add in nostalgia and the fandom from the first Beetlejuice, and I’d be shocked if fans of horror and campy comedy didn’t come out in droves in early September.

All things considered, this isn’t that high of a bar to hit. Deadpool & Wolverine actually doubled this mark ($211 million), so simply getting to $101 million feels well within reach.

Which Phrase Will Be Mentioned in Beetlejuice?

• Turn on the juice and see what shakes loose +400

Now that we have box office betting out of the way, we can get to some legit Beetlejuice 2 predictions. The first one is a fun one, as you can bet on which popular Beetlejuice catchphrase will be said in the sequel.

Michael Keaton was awesome as Beetlejuice the first time around, and he made some catchy one-liners pretty popular. The most popular was without a doubt “It’s showtime”, which was a key moment in the first film that started an unraveling of madness.

The odds for this Beetlejuice prop aren’t very appealing from a value perspective, but it feels like an easy callback to the original. I feel extremely confident that we’ll see Keaton say this in the second flick.

Of course, as noted, a -500 price tag isn’t super welcoming. You can go hard at this prop bet, but I’d rather seek out a little more value. I think you can obtain that with “ghost with the most”.

Both of these iconic lines were actually only said once each in the original, but they feel like taglines that are simply too catchy to not say at least one time again. The odds are good that both are said again in the sequel, but I prefer the value of the second option at -150.

The other options are in play, but I think at this point the “make my millennium” wager is the least appealing. A lot of these sequels tend to pay homage to the original movies, so any of the first three phrases are viable.

If I had to pick one that I deem most likely to be said, it’s easily “It’s showtime”, but “ghost with the most” feels just as likely and returns more value for bettors.

Number of Times “Dead” is Said

This Beetlejuice bet is a total guessing game, and to be frank, the line feels really high. That said, we’re dealing with a main character that is literally dead, and the plot of the movie involves the opening of a portal to the afterlife.

If you ask me, that gives plenty of opportunities to say the word “dead” in a movie that has a run time of 1 hour and 44 minutes.

I think it’s in play, but 16 times for any word feels like a lot. Give me the Under.

How Many Times Will the F-Word Be Said?

• Over 8.5 times -120
• Under 8.5 times -120

Something tells me we are in for a wild ride when Beetlejuice 2 fires off on September 6th. Tim Burton’s zany brain gets to revisit this vibrant world of death and comedy, and it is unlikely to disappoint.

Will there be a lot of F-bombs, though?

If you watch the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice trailer, there are plenty of moments that would provoke such language. There is a scene where Beetlejuice literally spills his own guts out, after all.

In fact, Beetlejuice himself is about to drop an F-bomb in a scene shown in the trailer. While true, this movie is supposedly going to be rated PG-13 and you technically are only allowed to say the F-word once in a movie with this rating.

The content calls for all of the F-words, but the rating and rule tell you to bet the Under.

Bet: Under 8.5 -120

How Many Times Will “Ghost” Be Said?

• Under 12.5 times -120

So far you have some good Beetlejuice prop bets to target, but it’s fair to say they aren’t allowing you to have much fun.

Yes, betting correctly on the amount of F-bombs being Under 8.5 is a likely win, but that means you don’t get to tally a bunch of curse words. 

Fortunately, I think you can put your fingers up for everytime the word “ghost” is said. You just might need to use your toes, is all.

This is a movie dealing with perhaps the most infamous ghost in film history (at least if you ask him), and there’s more where that came from. With humans also involved, I think it’s rather likely the word “ghost” gets thrown around quite a bit in Beetlejuice 2.

Bet: Over 12.5 times -120

Betting on What Will Happen in Beetlejuice 2

At this point all of the crazy Beetlejuice 2 rumors have either come to fruition, or they’re probably not happening. We know the cast for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, too, so there shouldn’t be too many surprises.

However, there are absolutely still some Beetlejuice 2 predictions to be made – and you can make money from them.

Until the sequel premiers, you’ll have the opportunity to place bets on any of the above Beetlejuice props. I think the f-word being said nine or more times is my favorite bet, but I also love the value with “ghost with the most” being said at -150, too.

Those are two really good bets with solid prices. Of course, the best bet of all might be for this movie to make over $100.5 million during its opening weekend. We saw what Deadpool & Wolverine just accomplished, after all.

Beetlejuice 2 isn’t quite on the same level when it comes to anticipation, but there are some die hard Tim Burton fans out there – not to mention fans of horror and comedy. Beetlejuice should appeal to those people and will have plenty of success in its first weekend.

I’d probably avoid the other Beetlejuice 2 bets, though. You should always look for an edge with betting markets like this, but also be selective. Hopefully I’ve pointed you to some winning bets.
