NYCFC Trying to End Second 3-Match Slide of Season Against Orlando
NYCFC began the season with a difficult start, facing three consecutive losses. Nevertheless, they made an impressive comeback, being defeated only twice in their following 13 games. Their impressive performance bumped them to the third spot in the rankings of the Eastern Conference.

Orlando’s Situation
While NYCFC’s earlier success gave them a buffer, Orlando City is still trying to secure a playoff spot. Currently, they are in 10th place but tied with ninth-place Atlanta United on points.
