These are not your conventional Squid Game props, as you really can just bet on something to happen, or not bet at all.

The only Squid Game odds that work both ways revolve around the number on the winning player’s shirt.

Despite the odd nature of these Squid Game prop bets, there is a lot to like. Of course, that all depends on what you think will happen in Squid Game season two.

I have my personal theories, and we can glean a bit from the Squid Game 2 trailer below.

When Does Season 2 of Squid Game Premiere?

Luckily, you have plenty of time to formulate your Squid Game 2 props. Of course, that’s also technically up to the sites. I pulled the latest Squid Game season two odds from BetUS, and they have an expiration date that is pretty soon.

That likely means the props and odds offered will simply be updated, as season two of Squid Game isn’t here until December 26th.

Director Hwang Dong-hyuk has gone public to say the new season will be “worth the wait”, and we get the return of our hero, Seong Gi-hun.

What transpires from there, though, is anyone’s guess. If you’re just here for some Squid Game season 2 predictions, or you want to know how to bet, read on.

Squid Game Season 2 Predictions

There is a lot to take in here. So much could happen in season two, and you can bet on any of these predictions.

What Will the Winning Player’s Number Be in Squid Game Season 2?

  • 001-227 (-125)
  • 228-456 (-115)

The first Squid Game saw our hero, Seong Gi-hun, win with the number 456 on his shirt. The teaser trailer for season two suggests he’s back again, and logic suggests he’ll be competing in some more games.

The beauty here is we can make two bets in one and we’re getting the best price available. You can either bank on Seong Gi-hun entering the Squid Games for a second time and possibly having the same number, or you can just hope the winner had a number between 228-456.

It’s basically a 50/50 prop without Gi-hun’s presence, but if he does compete again, it wouldn’t be shocking for the show to hand him the number that was originally his. And even if it doesn’t it’s still possible he has a number at 228 or higher.

Of course, this is assuming he 1. Competes again and 2. Actually wins again. The fact that he’s out for blood this time around may complicate matters – and makes me wonder if anyone wins the game at all this time – but I still think 228-456 remains the best bet.

Bet: 228-456 (-125)

Will the Front Man (Hwang-in-ho) Compete in Squid Games?

Hopefully you’ve actually seen season one of Squid Game and I’m not providing spoilers here. It’s been a second since Netflix released the smash hit show, though, so if so, perhaps that’s entirely on you.

Maybe you’re simply here to bet on what happens in Squid Game season two. Either way, let’s proceed with this prop, which asks if The Front Man will compete in any of the games next season.

The Front Man was the mysterious figure that hosted the Squid Games in season one, but here’s where the Squid Game spoilers drop.

First, there is an undercover detective that infiltrated the games in hopes of finding his missing brother. Unfortunately, it is revealed late in the first season that (gasp) The Front Man is his brother.

That leads to The Front Man taking his own brother out (double gasp). The games commence to the point where Gi-hun wins, but after he’s victorious a new game is prepped to begin.

Beyond this, a huge thing to recall from season one is that people do things for a lot of old reasons. The old guy (Oh Il-nam) was revealed to be the original creator of the Squid Games, and as we know, he competed in the competition because he knew he was going to die.

There are also a bunch of rich elites running this whole operation, and they basically put a bunch of money up and bet on who will die in each game. It’s pretty sick, but obviously nothing about what’s been going on would keep The Front Man from getting his hands dirty.

This is probably a bet I would avoid, however, just because he does seem to take his role in the whole process pretty seriously. I mean, he killed his own brother to protect his identity and to keep the games rolling, after all.

Could he maybe compete in the games for fun or to manipulate them? Sure, and the +350 price tag is pretty inviting. However, this is one I’d probably stay away from.

Bet: No

Will Red Light, Green Light Be Played in the New Squid Game Season?

The original Squid Game season was arguably made into an instant hit by immediately introducing this popular kid’s game. Only thing is, instead of just getting tagged out, players got shot and killed.

It was a clever spin on the game, where competitors had to stay absolutely frozen when time ran out, and had to sprint in an effort to get to the other side of the field when they were able.

Squid Game made a name for transforming seemingly innocent games and making them life-or-death situations, and that surely won’t change in season two.

I like this bet for two reasons. First, because repeating some games would maintain some familiarity as the crux of the story begins to evolve further. Secondly, it’s just the first level game and there’s some nostalgia and “getting your feet wet” to it that nobody can deny.

The one caveat? The price stinks. You’re going to have to bet a ton at this -600 price tag to get anything back. I hate the odds, but I do think we will see the game again. Just bet at your own risk.

Bet: Yes -600

Will Oh Il-nam Be Revealed as Seong Gi-hun’s Father?

As I mentioned earlier, Oh Il-nam is the old guy from season one. We see him right away in the Squid Games and later outside of the game when he meets Seong Gi-hun.

You’re led to believe he’s dead, but later on we find out he’s the orchestrator behind the entire game. Then he “actually” dies.

Everything is on the table at this point, but there have been little nuggets to suggest he may be the father of Seong Gi-hun.

Here are a few that stand out:

  • They are both lactose intolerant
  • Seong Gi-hun is the age Il-nam’s son would be
  • Seong Gi-hun’s birthday is around the same time as Il-nam’s son
  • Gi-hun’s mom’s maiden name is the same as Il-nam’s

I’ll admit that this could all be just a coincidence. Perhaps it’s even a red herring and just for fun. But the creator of Squid Game has acknowledged this fan theory without actually dispelling it, so it remains quite possible.

These odds feel a lot friendlier than some of the others. Not only is this very possible – and would make for quite the bombshell in season two – but a -300 price tag isn’t that hard to stomach.

Before you place your bet, check out the below video for a more detailed breakdown as to why Oh Il-nam could be Seong Gi-hun’s father.

Will Seong Gi-hun Enter Another Squid Game Competition?

This is probably my favorite Squid Game prop bet for season two. We know by now that Seong Gi-hun is alive and well, and we also know he’s on his way to try to put an end to this heinous game.

How does he do that, though? Realistically, the only way is to secretly infiltrate the game somehow, or to go back into it as a competitor.

One way or another, I think he’s going to risk his life to try to right his wrongs, especially given all the bloodshed he’s witnessed. However, after winning a boatload of cash, all that seems to matter to him is integrity and doing the right thing.

That may involve the ultimate sacrifice, but the only way out is from within. I think he’ll definitely end up going back into the games, even if it’s just an entry into one game at some point.

Bet: Yes +165

Will Seong Gi-hun Infiltrate the Squid Game Staff?

This Squid Game prop is about as good as the last one, and in some ways it’s superior. For one, I think it’s very likely that Seong Gi-hun infiltrates the staff.

We know it can be done, as the now deceased detective (and brother of The Front Man) found a way to make it happen. He, of course, promptly met his demise once he was detected.

If Seong Gi-hun is going to make an impact in season two, he’ll need to do it by entering the competition again, by worming his way into the inner circle, or perhaps a combination of both.

This bet has better odds, but feels just as likely to happen.

Bet: Yes +250

Will Seong Gi-hun Replace the Front Man?

I wish this bet had longer odds, but I still like it. In the name of making Squid Game 2 predictions, I will admit this one forces you to go out on a limb.

As in, how do we actually get to this point? Well, we know that a third season of Squid Game is going to come (and that will end the series), so consider the second installment as a bit of a set-up.

Due to this, I don’t think Seong Gi-hun figures out how to take this operation down right away. It has to be more of a slow play, and that should involve him infiltrating the staff, and/or competing in some of the games again.

That path should lead him to taking over as The Front Man, but only in an effort to manipulate and eventually end the Squid Games.

Gin-hun wants this game to die, so he wouldn’t be “taking over” to run the games. He’d be putting on the mask to find a way to get to the people who are really controlling everything.

At this +250 price, this is a bet I don’t mind taking, but it’s not one I’d suggest if you’re looking for more of a gimmie bet.

Bet: Yes +250

Betting on What Will Happen in Squid Game 2

There is some serious alignment between my own Squid Game season two predictions and how you can bet on the show. If you don’t agree with how I see season two panning out, by all means, please refrain from using my picks to place any bets.

In general, I like all of these Squid Game 2 props. Some are a bit riskier than others, and there are a couple that don’t have the most alluring odds.

If I had to single out one bet to place ahead of Squid Game 2, it’d be that we see Seong Gi-hun compete in the Squid Games competition again. In what capacity and for how long, I don’t know, but it doesn’t seem right to bring him back and have the games continue without him in them.

That’s going to be a huge piece to the puzzle, and I also think he’ll set things up for season three by infiltrating the staff and perhaps even taking the mask of The Front Man.

Latch onto the Squid Game season 2 picks you like the most. Hopefully some of these hit and you can enjoy the second season of the show with a little extra green in your pocket.
