2024 WWE Money In The Bank Odds and Predictions

On Saturday, July 6, the WWE will be live from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, for the Money In The Bank (MITB) premium live event (PLE). This weekend’s event marks the 15^th installment in the MITB franchise.

Per tradition, the MITB event features two ladder matches with a briefcase hanging above the ring. The winner of the men’s and women’s ladder match will be the first to climb up and grab the briefcase. Locked inside the briefcase is a contract that awards the winner with a world title match whenever he or she decides to cash in the briefcase.

Let’s step inside the squared circle to examine the latest WWE MITB odds, courtesy of the top sports betting sites, and make our Money In The Bank predictions. Keep in mind, the WWE will continue to tweak their MITB card throughout the week.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Last Chance Match

• Seth Rollins (+170)
• Damian Priest (-250)

Seth Rollins was the former world heavyweight champion as he lost the title to Drew McIntyre on Night 2 of WrestleMania 40. After McIntyre won the belt, Damian Priest came out right away and cashed in his MITB contract from 2023. With a little assistance from CM Punk, Priest would beat McIntyre to become the world champ.

Priest would retain the title at Clash In The Castle: Scottland against Drew McIntyre due to CM Punk’s assistance once again. Following that PLE, Seth Rollins returned to the June 17^th RAW after a hiatus due to injury.

Rollins would go on to share some similarities between he and Priest, which eventually inspired the champ to throw out a challenge at Money In The Bank PPV. Like Priest, Rollins also cashed in his MITB contract to win the world title at WM 31 back in 2015.

On the June 24^th RAW, Rollins and Priest would agree to stipulations for their world title match. If Priest wins then Rollins would never challenge for the world title again, as long as Priest is still the champ. However, if Rollins wins then Priest has to leave The Judgement Day faction.

So, it comes down to whether or not the WWE is ready to break up the group that Edge originally founded in 2022, at WrestleMania 38. The other caveat here is Priest’s current title reign. He’s only held the belt for three months. Would Triple H really end his title run at just three months?

I don’t see that happening. Instead, expect Priest to get some assistance in defeating Rollins. WWE would be better off having Rollins in other high-profile matches without the title than having him beat Priest this weekend and win the title. Could we see a Rollins vs. Gunther match at SummerSlam?

Take Priest to win this match and for his title run to continue throughout the summer.

WWE Bet: Damian Priest (-250)

WWE Intercontinental Title Match

• Sammy Zayn (-110)
• Bron Breakker (-130)

Depending on which sportsbook you look at, Bron Breakker has odds as high as -200 as of this writing. So, if you believe he will win this match on Saturday, then shop for odds where Breakker is a smaller favorite like these from BetOnline.

Two weeks ago, Breakker interrupted Sami Zayn celebrating his successful defense of the Intercontinental Championship in Scottland. Breakker declared that he wanted the IC belt. The next week, Zayn confronted Breakker backstage and a match was made for the two at MITB, which is in Zayn’s home country of Canada.

Like Priest, Zayn won the title at WM 40. He defeated Gunther and ended the former champ’s record setting title reign. However, unlike the world title, the IC strap has been treated like a hot potato at times prior to Gunther’s reign. So, don’t let the duration of Zayn’s title run deter you here.

Breakker has been on a tear over the last few months. The WWE is clearly pushing Bron to become a main event star. He ended Ricochet’s time in the WWE with a brutal attack that took the former off of television. In fact, Ricochet is expected to head to AEW where many hoped he would show up at the Forbidden Door PPV.

As for this Intercontinental Title match, I think it will be even more dramatic if Zayn loses the title in his home country. Breakker is going to get booked as an absolute beast for this match. So, treating Zayn like a rag doll will definitely get the Canadian fans into this bout.

It’s Breakker’s time to move up another rung on the ladder. No need to get cute here HHH. Give the man the belt and prep him for a 2025 Royal Rumble victory then a WM 41 win.

Six-Man Tag Team Match

• The Bloodline (-450)
• Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes & Kevin Owens (+200)

Cody Rhodes has had a lengthy feud against The Bloodline in one form or another. In fact, so have Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. This particular six-man match can be traced back to Rhodes defeating Roman Reigns at WM 40 and ending “The Tribal Chief’s” unbeaten streak. It also sent Reigns into a hiatus, which he has yet to return from.

With Reigns gone, Solo Sikoa declared himself the new leader of The Bloodline. He then introduced Tama Tonga as a new member to the group. The duo would take on Owens and Orton at Backlash France. Tonga Loa debuted and helped The Bloodline pick up the victory.

In Scottland, Rhodes successfully defended his title against AJ Styles. After the match, The Bloodline came out and attacked the champ. Orton and Owens would come out to make the save.

A few weeks ago, on an episode of SmackDown, Owens and Orton came out to help Rhodes after his non-title match against Sikoa. The Bloodline had interfered, which brought out Orton and Owens. Just when the “good guys” were getting the upper hand, Jacob Fatu appeared and helped his Bloodline members to crush Owens, Orton and Rhodes.

As of this writing, it has yet to be officially announced as to which three members of The Bloodline will participate in this match. Honestly, it doesn’t really matter. This group has the numbers advantage and there’s a chance they could see another member debut at the PPV.

Although there’s no value with the -450 odds, The Bloodline will win this match.

Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match

• Drew McIntyre (-200)
• Andrade (+300)
• LA Knight (+500)
• Carmelo Hayes (+600)
• Chad Gable (+900)
• Jey Uso (+1200)

Although he has the longest odds to win this MITB ladder match, Jey Uso was the first man to earn a spot in this bout. He defeated Finn Balor and Rey Mysterio Jr. in a triple-threat match on the June 17^th episode of RAW.

On the June 21^st episode of SmackDown, Carmelo Hayes earned a spot by defeating Orton and Tama Tonga. Andrade also earned a spot be defeating Owens and Grayson Waller.

On the June 24^th episode of RAW, Chad Gable defeated Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed to qualify for this match. LA Knight beat Logan Paul and Santos Escobar to earn his spot on the June 28^th episode of SmackDown. Drew McIntyre was the last man to qualify as he beat Sheamus and Ilka Dragunov on RAW this week.

Once McIntyre qualified, the WWE odds for this ladder match dramatically changed. At first, Jey Uso was the favorite at +150 odds but McIntyre is now the sizable odds-on favorite to win this contest.

Uso has become a fan-favorite with the WWE Universe and is definitely worthy of a flier. If CM Punk interferes, to cost McIntyre another victory, then Uso will win this match. With that said, it would become a little bit absurd if Punk interferes again. WWE has already established Punk and McIntyre as the top feud once the former fully returns from an injury. So, there’s no need to have Punk cost McIntyre a third victory.

McIntyre certainly doesn’t need to win this match, but having the briefcase could always be put on the line in a match against Punk where the latter could win it. There are multiple ways this ladder match could go. However, let’s play it safe and take McIntyre. Other than Uso, the rest of the competitors are just filler and here for high spots.

Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match

• Zoey Stark (+160)

Iyo Sky was the first woman to qualify for this match as she beat Kiana James and Zelina Vega. Chelsea Green was next to qualify after defeating Bianca Belair and Michin on the June 21^st episode of SmackDown. Lyra Valkyria would defeat Kairi Sane and Shayna Baszler on the June 24^th RAW to be the third woman to qualify.

Tiffany Stratton defeated Jade Cargill and Candice LeRae before Naomi would go on to beat Blair Davenport and Indi Harwell on the June 28^th episode of SmackDown. On this week’s RAW, Zoey Stark beat Dakota Kai and Ivy Nile to earn the final spot of the MITB women’s ladder match.

This match has two real favorites in Stark and Stratton. These odds are closer than the men’s ladder match. Also like the men’s MITB match, most of the women’s MITB entrants are there as fillers like Green, Naomi, Sky and Valkyria.

I think this match will cement the ascension of Stratton and put her in a position to become a main event star over the next six to nine months.

Stratton made her main roster debut on the February 2^nd episode of SmackDown. This came after she appeared in the women’s Royal Rumble match. Stratton would go on to participate in the women’s Elimination Chamber match, a triple threat Women’s Championship match at Backlash France and then a spot in the Queen of the Ring tournament.

Although Stratton came up short in all of these matches, she’s continued to improve and raise her stock with both the WWE brass and the WWE Universe. In fact, the fans are firmly behind her. As far as I’m concerned, the WWE would severely drop the ball if they don’t have Stratton win this match and get the spotlight that comes with holding the MITB briefcase.

Will Roman Reigns Appear at MITB?

There are plenty of rumors swirling around the return of Roman Reigns. The former undisputed WWE champion has been on hiatus since he lost to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40.

In addition to some much-needed rest and relaxation after carrying the company for over two years, Reigns is also mourning the loss of his father Sika. A WWE HOF wrestler and former tag-team champion, Sika is a legendary member of the Anoai-Fatu Samoan Dynasty. We certainly send our prayers and condolences to the family.

As for Reigns’ return, it makes zero sense to have him appear at Money In The Bank especially with SummerSlam around the corner. Yes, Paul Heyman was attacked by Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline faction last weekend in what was a great segment of entertainment and emotional investment. Another example of WWE excelling in entertainment value.

With that said, I think WWE’s best course of action is to have The Bloodline run roughshod over SmackDown and eventually set up a singles match between Rhodes and Solo at SummerSlam for the championship.

Then, and only then, the WWE should bring Reigns back to cost Solo the title. It can set up a few different angles. First, we could see an unholy alliance with Reigns and Rhodes, which would be right down the plate for WWE booking. The second option, is we could go right into a dueling Bloodline feud.

With how red hot the WWE has been in regards to booking The Bloodline, Reigns, Rhodes and other parties involved in this lengthy, compelling saga, I see the promotion squeezing out both scenarios almost simultaneously.

But I’m getting ahead of myself here. So, let’s get back to this prop bet. BetOnline doesn’t have a “No” option because it’s almost guaranteed that Reigns won’t appear. Plus, having only a “Yes” option gives the sportsbook a better chance at winning money on this wager. Skip this prop bet altogether.

Will CM Punk Interfere in Men’s MITB Ladder Match?

The latest reports state that CM Punk has yet to be cleared to return to the ring. Most of the WWE brass and Punk himself had hoped he could make it back in time for SummerSlam in August. Unfortunately, that’s looking a bit too ambitious. For an aging wrestler with multiple severe injuries over the last few years, rushing him back could be career-ending.

Additionally, the WWE doesn’t need to rush him back as Punk and Drew McIntyre have kept their rivalry compelling both on WWE television and social media. In reality, with the way that this rivalry has simmered and popped the WWE Universe at times, having it featured at Survivor Series would be the smart play here.

With that said, I wouldn’t completely rule out Punk returning to SummerSlam. With the way that Punk and McIntyre have been physically engaging with each other, it looks like Punk is closer to a return than those reports indicate.

If Punk were cleared in time for SummerSlam, it would be the main event and do huge numbers. Yet, I think the WWE has a creative opportunity here to make things more exciting.

Punk will show up and interfere in the men’s ladder match. But I think he should show up to aid in McIntyre winning the briefcase. Then he can inspire McIntyre to put the briefcase on the line at SummerSlam. Ultimately, having Punk cheat to beat McIntyre at SummerSlam would give more fuel to this rivalry and it puts Punk in line for a title shot.

As for this prop, there isn’t a “No” option as of this writing. However, most pundits and fans think Punk will interfere. So, take the “Yes” option.
