Erie Community College Kats

The Erie Community College Kats, representing SUNY Erie in Buffalo, New York, compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and the Western New York Athletic Conference (WNYAC). They offer a wide range of athletic programs, including men’s and women’s basketball, soccer, swimming & diving, and bowling. Additionally, the Kats feature men’s teams in football, baseball, and ice hockey, along with women’s teams in volleyball, lacrosse, softball, and cheerleading. Their teams have a strong record in junior college athletics, having won numerous regional and national championships, with recent highlights including national titles in men’s ice hockey and competitive placements in bowling and soccer.
