St. Francis (IN) Cougars
The St. Francis (IN) Cougars, representing the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana, compete in various sports within the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). The majority of their teams participate in the Crossroads League, a conference that includes other Indiana-based institutions and nearby colleges in the Midwest. Known for their success, the Cougars’ football team competes in the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA), where they achieved notable national recognition, winning the NAIA Championship titles in 2016 and 2017.
Basketball is another highly competitive program for the Cougars. The men’s team has previously reached the finals of the NAIA Division II tournament, securing a championship in 2010 and consistently performing well in national brackets.
